I need to get his book. That part about the Juilliard school still goes on today & pisses me off. Music theory is low key based off white supremacy..white folks who couldn’t feel & express themselves through music created a whole bunch of rules that they say you have to follow if you’re a true musician.

Yeh i read it a few years back . . . Found it a bit dry in places but i did finish it . .

He came across as an angry fugga who didnt really take to many people. .

Lots of drugs involved . . . I think his choice was the white. Charlie Parker preffered the brown . . .

Whatever, i could drink a scotch with a pagan, listening to I Fall In Love Too Easily by Miles Davies and be in reflective heaven .

This is the opposite of what Miles preached. He always preached that musicians needed to study music theory.
