Has Durant passed Carmelo all time?

Billups was good enough to eviscerate the "best point guard in the nba by far" in 2009. Why couldnt Melo lead his team over a Deron Williams led Utah team?

I'd take Melo as a player over Durant without hesitation. Melo's just had bad luck while Durant has literally been gifted the best roster in the NBA for the last 3 years.

But I still think Melo is the better player

Carmelo is one of the most offensively talented players in the league. I love the dude's game. He's just not Kevin Durant.

Melo getting to the WCF in 2009 and pushing the Lakers to 6 with his second best player being a 33 year old Chauncey Billups is more impressive than anything Durant has done in his career with LOADED rosters.

Carmelo was horrible in the Lakers series except for game 1. Dude flat out stunk it up for 4 straight games. I credit the Nuggets' defense and Chancey's floor game for their success that season more than Melo's individual volume scoring.

KD is a much better player than Melo. Dude is a better scorer, ball handler, shooter, passer and defender. Its not even close.
