How man inches does melo have on luke walton? How many pounds does he have on Luke Walton?:sas1::sas2::sas1:

If you stack to CP0's on top of each other, are they tall as Duref? Do they weight as much :sas1::sas2::sas1:
Breh Chris Paul at 5'11 is a better defender than Luke Walton could ever hope to be. Walton was godawful. The only player he had any kind of success against was Melo.

You guys do realize that Durant averaged 29.8 against memphis right? He still got his, there was no "shut down" it's just that between Westbrook and Brook's terrible offensive sets he wasn't able to get the ball ENOUGH. Difference.

Melo shuts himself down with his game, he's HORRIBLY inefficient and he doesn't even play elite defense to balance that out like Kobe did in his championship years. :yeshrug:

EDIT: And LOL at CP3 shutting down Durant. He didn't shut Durant down, every time CP3 guarded Durant in the high post it was actually a double. Once Durant figured out how to beat the double team you saw him rise up over CP3 for a dagger (after Russ hit his own 3)

what year is this? 2010?

there is literally no argument for melo over kd. durant's a better player, has better stats, has more playoff success and has a better resume.

you might "like" melo better but that doesn't mean he is better. it seems like a lot of dudes don't understand the difference.

none of those equate to being a better player. they are largely dependent on the situation you are in. Durant has had a much better supporting cast around him.

there's alot of good reasons to think Melo is better. the most important being the fact whenever they play, Melo outplays Durant head to head.

on a horrible shooting percentage. love how ya'll conveniently ignore that when it comes to Durant but are quick to point it out with Melo.

and no one has any explanation for why Durant keeps getting owned by Melo head to head.

Pierce used to be just as good as Kobe and sometimes even outplay him in their match ups. Kobe had trouble guarding and scoring on him. Going by your logic Pierce was better.

Deron used to straight up murder Chris Paul in their match ups. Was Deron better?

@Swagnificent has already pointed out the horrible fg%, so no need for me to repeat it. If 23 fga's per game isn't enough, how many times do you want him to shoot? It was more than RW's fga's. In what game did KD play elite defense to balance out his horrible inefficiency last postseason and this one?

key word: sometimes. with KD and Melo its almost ALWAYS. Melo simply bodies him every time they play. Paul had his moments against Kobe, but Kobe has gotten the better of him more times than not.

And I doubt you wanna be bringing up CP0 name in this thread. That chump can't even reach the conference finals with a loaded roster. At least Deron Williams got the WCF once in his career. And yes back in 2007-09 I had Deron Williams as better than CP3. Only gave up on Deron Williams after he got that max deal and became content with just getting paid.

You can't be defending Melo and bring up shooting percentages like they're in favor of your argument :beli:

they are in this case. Melo's career head to head is higher ppg on higher fg%.

I'm only using it cause most of the clowns on this site are using fg% as the main reason they think KD better than Melo. I think Melo is better cause he's bigger, stronger, better at drawing doubles, and is more impactful in his scoring. Defense its a wash. Rebounding its a wash. Playmaking its a wash. KD only started averaging most assists this season cause Russell was out and took over main ball-handling duties. Melo never been in that position.

well, durant is a better player, period. there aren't a lot of good reasons to think otherwise. that's why you're so laser-focused on one specific thing and holding it up as the only thing that matters. but if h2h match-ups are the end-all, be-all, then lebron > kobe...right?

funny thing is Russ has been more important to OKC's success this post-season than the MVP Durant.

thats how much help dude has had his entire career. his sidekick regularly outplays him in the most important games. I wish Melo had the fortune of playing with another top 5 player in his prime.
