Kobe and LeBron play different positions and RARELY match up in those games. You'da been better served posting the Kobe/Wade head to head since they actually play the same position and match up with one another.
KD and Melo play the same position. apples to oranges breh.

do u even watch the games? Kobe and Bron rarely guard each other. I watch every minute Kobe plays. only late in close games back in the Cleveland days did they ever really go at it. you'd be hard pressed to find a consistent 5 minute stretch where they guarded each other in any of those gamesnow that Bron is in Miami it usually Kobe and Wade that go at it. now those are head to head battles and we can start looking at their numbers and head to head win totals and draw some conclusions from it. but Kobe v. Bron. nahh. its like comparing Kobe to Duncan head to head. eventhough Kobe got more success against him, they play different positions and don't matchup.
plus as a Kobe fan I don't want him guarding LeBron. Bron is too big for him. 6'9" 270 lbs of muscle against an old 6'6" 210 lbs Kobe. Kobe has more than enough on his hands having to deal with the bigger 230 lbs. Wade.

you know what makes me uncomfortable. Kobe shooting 6-24 in game 7 against the Celtics and almost choking away a title while looking shook for the first time in his career. up until that point I never questioned Kobe's greatness. that night I had to face the fact he wasn't as good as I thought he was.
on the Kobe/LeBron matchups, I watched every single possession of those games and seen that whenever kobe and bron actually matchup, kobe eats him up.
Bron just eats up the Lakers team defense cause we are softer than silly putty in the paint.

now explain to me why Melo is 11-2 head to head against KD. when they play the same position, match up with one another. and its not like Melo had a better team his whole career against KD. the reverse has been true more often with KD having loaded teams.

If you are getting dominated by your opponent whenever ya'll play head to head, how can you claim to be better? KD has the benefit of having superior teammates. If Melo was in KD's position, he'd have at least one ring already.

WOAT argument. KD has better stats & a better overall resume. And Melo with "superior teammates" got bounced in the second round last yr vs. Indy and dropped in 5 games in the WCF.

not against Melo. head to head Melo outscores him, shoots a higher percentage, and gets more wins.
and Melo woulda won the title in 2012 with Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka.
