So were AI, Billups, Chandler, and Kenyon. Miller, Amare, and Nene were all top 10 picks. BTW doesn't the fact that his team had back to back top 5 picks indicate he was playing with a crappy roster? :heh:

top 5 picks that panned out. Forgot to add that part

westbrooks better than all of them

current Durant has a better roster than 09 Melo and is about to get swept by an old Spurs team. he almost lost in the first round to the Grizz with a healthy Ibaka/Westbrook and needed to be saved by Reggie Jackson in game 4 and the league by suspending Z-bo in game 7.

how the hell could this dude lead a weaker roster to the title in 09 against a superior team?
Current Melo couldn't even lead his team to the playoffs out East. Where all you needed was 38 wins to get in.

And are you really bringing up almost losing in the first round when Melo has lost in the first round exactly eight times so far in his career?

The 09 Nuggets were arguably more talented than the 09 Lakers. They nearly won the series with Melo playing like shyt and with Kobe playing out of his mind. If Ariza didn't get those two steals at the end of games 1 and 3 the Lakers most likely lose the series.

Your opinions are so bad :dead:

- LeBron on Durant

Where the quotes about Melo breh? We know for a fact he views Durant as his number 1 competition.

thats cause Durant has a stacked roster. of course he's more of a threat. Melo is rotting away in NYC with no one to play with. check the head to head matchups. Bron eats up Durant all the time (outside of the game in Miami this season). While Melo usually puts up a better fight. Melo is built like Pierce who gives Bron the most problems.

I see a whole bunch of text and no quote from Bron on Melo.

that has nothing to do with whether or not the 09 Nuggets are more talented than the 2012-14 Thunder. all your proving is Kobe is a much better player than Durant since he can lead a less talented roster to a ring. there is no way the 2009 Nuggets are more talented than a roster with Westbrook, Harden, and Ibake as SIDEKICKS.

Melo led the exact same roster (minus the injuries) to 54 wins and the second round the year earlier so I don't know what missing the playoffs this year has to do with anything. Maybe Melo got tired of dragging a roster that wasn't gonna go anywhere into the playoffs to be a sacrificial lamb.

never made the argument Durant resume wasn't bodying Melo. Just think that if you put both of them in similar situations, Melo's gonna come out on top cause he's a better player.

None of those guys panned out? :usure: Westbrook and AI are pretty much equals. Melo's had better true PGs (Billups and Miller) than Bron, KD, Kobe, T-Mac, AI, or any other great perimeter player in recent memory. He's had athletic guys with size and ability up front. He's had talent.

Men Lie. Women Lie. Numbers don't.

Carmelo Anthony vs. Kevin Durant | Basketball-Reference.com

Carmelo Anthony vs. LeBron James | Basketball-Reference.com

LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant | Basketball-Reference.com

Lets see. Melo dominates KD head to head (11-2 record). LeBron dominates KD head to head (10-3 record). While Melo and LeBron are pretty even head to head (11-10 record).

I don't see any quotes, you said that you bet Bron would call Melo his toughest competition, meanwhile his biggest rivals are Paul Pierce and Durant, from his own mouth :dead:

funny how whenever KD and Melo play, its Melo who outplays him. Melo not only scores more points, does so more efficiently, and leads his team to more victories. 11-2 record head to head. 29ppg on 49% shooting vs. 28ppg on 43% shooting.

reading comprehension breh. like you cited, I said Bron WOULD call Melo his toughest competition if given Melo and KD had equivalent rosters. obviously Durant right now is more of a threat since he got a beast of a roster.

the head to head should make it clear. Melo and Bron are a step above KD. Durant is still a lil kid to them. He gets eaten alive everytime they play.

only FACTS posted so far.

KD is 2-11 head to head against Melo.
he gets outscored by Melo head to head (29ppg to 28ppg) while also getting beaten in the efficiency department (49% to 43%)

only thing KD has over Melo is a more talented roster. THATS IT. Melo on the Thunder would already have 2 rings.
