Impact IDK but as far as a rapper goes Push is miles ahead IMO... Impact though that is tough because Jones as said above had a huge single and was part of Dipset etc. along with his vamp life and love and hip hop etc. Clipse Debut was a platinum album though and the 2nd was FIRE.

Their last 2 albums bombed despite being produced by the Neptunes

This is the part of the movie when people tell me they wasn’t tryna get on the radio with records like this :dead:

And the most memorable part of the song is Pharrell singing "I'm looking good, yeah!" 100 x's over their un-influential verses and hook :russ:

Pusha T Fans
-If Jimmy got the movement moving where was his Oh Boy verse? His Hey Ma verse? His Dipset Anthem verse? Sounds like he got left off Bad & Boujee. Its ok he was on Get Crunk Muzik(he had the best verse on there imo)
-Ya'll forgot Jim lost a beef to a broad that loses beef to herself(Azealia Banks) and used his own producer
-Ya'll forgot Tru Life stole Jimmy's chains twice

-Ya'll forgot Jimmy was in his feelings when Cam & Juelz left Jimmy for French Montana when they were still beefing to create what he called "The New Dipset"

Jim Jones Fans
-Ya'll forgot to say people like Malice verses more during The Clipse run
-Ya'll forgot to say The Clipse bit Cam's verse from Horse & Carriage for Mr. Me Too
And when it comes to 'Jimmy,' my name's 'me' too
'Cause when he got cash, I was like "me too"
And when he got ass I said "me too"
And when he got the drop I was like "me too"
And when he almost got shot I said "me too"
-The Clipse failed to crossover after being on that corny Justin Timberlake song

By having 2 of the biggest female rappers in history during the “fall off “ period :heh:
The fact you hiding behind two shorties says it all.

We didn’t fall off. Cardi B and Ice Spice bruh.
All day.

SMH. Don’t at me anymore.

drake bought Pusha microphone (pause)

i think Drake is the biggest artist out that alone give Push the influence title

and Push help blow Bape up

I think this is a good time to make the distinction between being a great artist and being an influential artist who influences the culture. Drake is a great artist, but he follows trends and capatilizes off of them in the mainstream. He does give the artist that he gets the trends from their props tho so it is what it is. But as big as an artist Drake is, he isn't the most influential artist either. Don't get me wrong, he has a zillion times more influence than Pusha T but for him to be such a big artist he doesn't have the influence to match. For example: It could be argued that Travis Scott has more influence over the culture than Drake. Just look at both of their lines with Nike.. Which one is more coveted? Influence is bigger than music. Influence is getting kids and adults to buy into your brand. The way you walk. The way you talk. Your ideology, etc. I'm not saying Drake couldn't have that level of influence if he wanted to because I truly believe he could. I think part of the reason why Drake lacks influence is because he tries to appeal to too many audiences so there's nothing that he really stands on. While Travis Scott has a specific audience he caters to, so his fans are cult-like. They hang on to his every word which gives him a great amount of INFLUENCE over them. But that's a topic for another thread. This thread isn't about who can rap circles around who it's about who has the most INFLUENCE/IMPACT which are 2 totally different things.

Jim was a weed carrier turned rapper. I don’t know if he accomplished as much as Pusha. I’m still waiting for the day Jim can get a Jay verse or something. Even Cam accomplished more than Jimmy. And this coming from a fan of his.

And in regards to Bape. Pharrell was wearing Bape at the exact same time Pusha was wearing it, so did he really help blow Bape up or was it just another case of him benefitting from his alliance with Pharrell and being able to get fresh Bape gear because Pharrell and Nigo were so close. On the other hand while Jim was popularizing the rock star look wearing True Religion, Chrome Heart, BB Simon, ACG Boots, etc. Cam'ron was popularizing Pink, Mauri's and Juelz was popularizing wearing Pelle Pelle's and bandanas around the fitteds. Dipset was one big movement but they all had their own identity.

That’s the proper response

nikka get feelings because i don’t think he’s one of the 50 greatest rappers of all time, and his response is one these silly ass overdramtic subliminal diss songs spreading gossip like a broad

The best thing to come out of this whole ordeal is that tweet someone made saying Push rap like he’s in a dark room with a flashlight under his chin :mjlol:

Please Jim don’t make some struggle diss back with a bunch of tough guy threats…not trying to hear that shyt either
