I don’t see how you don’t. I don’t want to be disrespectful, but Biggie is largely considered top 5 in many peoples list. But he died with 2 (3 if we split the double disc) albums. They were amazing and classics, but he didn’t live long enough to really have to come up with newer material based on his life experiences. I feel like when we’re talking about this we have to acknowledge Kendrick hasn’t dropped anything less than an amazing album and he has 3 for sure classics out of his 5 solo albums. Idk. I know these list are inherently subjective, but I feel like people put weird prerequisites on Kendrick that they don’t put on other artist.

I still view it as "pending" instead of an official placement since he's still putting numbers on the board but yes. The thing a lot of us felt was that Kendrick (and Cole) never had a rap battle, whereas nearly everyone generally considered top 5-10 has. Needless to say we got the answer to that question lol.

for me Kenny solidified his spot as like top 10 at worst. he checks all of the boxes, everything from skills to albums he's grreat. Kenny will have to have a fall off of epic proportions to be taken out the top 10

He wasn’t even rapping in voices in the beginning of Euphoria keep exposing yourself. You hate Kendrick’s “voices” even when he’s rapping in his regular voice but that Aubrey singing in a fake Caribbean accent sure connects with you. lol. Vibes, bops, and outside brehs.

Im talking about the beginning of his rap. Does that clear it up? Exposing myself as what? Yes, the carribean accent dont bother me on Controlla. Cant take a whole album of that like "more life". Your last sentence doeant describe me at all. Thats more 20-30 yrs old hip hop fans. Im an og who favorite rapper is Nas.

Yes, after hearing him say "a-minorrrrrr" and "we don't wanna hear you say nikka no more" and a whole verse dedicated to a daughter that doesn't even exist, I can comfortably say I now have him above Biggie, Nas and Jay.

Talking about he teamed up...only one dude hit Drake with 4 songs in 6 days and it wasn't these other nikkas. If anything, all these other folks were riding Kendrick's wave

Kendrick benefitted heavily off the fact that so many people hate Drake and Drake split his focus. Not saying he wouldn't have won otherwise but it def helped that Drake wasn't only dealing with him.
