It's mostly the officiating. Refs have such a large presence in this game. It's already a pretty slow game as is, and now there are stoppages for reviews for everything - "did he have his elbow down as he was making a "football" move"? Let's stop all the action, go to a commercial, come back and look at this for 5 more minutes :camby:

The handcuffing of the defense has become such an atrocity that it doesn't even reflect football any longer. Simply placing your hand on a receiver when the ball is in the air is a penalty. Touch fouls are supposed to occur in basketball, not football.

We watch it because we've loved it since being kids, but what's being played out there is not football as we've always known it.

And this is why things wont change. Not just you personally but as long as people will still watch, the NFL will continue to put out a watered down product.

I could easily see public interest in the NFL steadily declining one day. Just because we love something doesnt mean that the generations that come after us will feel the same way. 90 pct of people who love the NFL started loving it before the Roger Goodell regime/new CBA.

It's like Week 13 or some shyt and I havent watched a single game this year that I found enjoyable/entertaining. Too many commercials. Too many flags. Too many stoppages. Too corporate. These new kids born in the mid 2000's and shyt have shorter attention spans than ever thanks to video games/technology. I cant see all these kids sitting through these boring ass NFL games week in and week out like we do. Even with Redzone channel.
yup this is killing me. Late games starting later to fit in more commercials. Refs way to involved in the outcomes of games.
To much fukkery going on for my liking.
And on top of that the play on the field is going down.
Which is why they always show the same 3-4 highlights over and over...there is nothing else to highlight.

I am falling out of love with the NFL....and that shyt was my number one my whole life.
I used to watch every game all day sunday, sunday nighter and monday nighter. Didnt matter who was playing I loved that shyt.
Not I'd be lucky to watch half the sunday or monday night games...and half the time I'm just sitting there on my ipad or preoocupied with other shyt.
Even on Sundays I used to be hardcore watching all the games, multiple screens, watching multiple games.
Now I just watch the big screen, and redzone on my laptop.

If I wasn't betting on games I'd barely watch anymore.
I'm even betting less nowadays, cuz some of these games just don't be making sense to me frow week to week.

I'm not sure if my bears can make it or not. Seem like 10 other teams in the same range with the record they got.
the NFL prides itself on Parity. they want you to think that your team ALWAYS has a chance.
this is why they try to keep the records close.

OR else you'd stop watching....they don't want that.

But most of the teams actually have a chance unless you the cowboys.

There was a time that I HAD to be in front of the TV on Sunday Afternoon to watch any Football game. If I had another obligation, it would ruin my entire weekend and fukk my head all up. Used to throw tantrums over missing football games when I was younger :pachaha:

Now, I'd rather work or hang out with friends or chill on the coli or hit the gym. I've gone multiple Sundays without checking for Football :manny:.

Goddamn brehs all of our teams suck. :mjcry:

Only the cheaters and irrelevant franchises like the Panthers and Bengals are doing well.

The rest of the league is mediocre or injury riddled. I'm starting to wonder if this league peaked in the 90s/00s. They got to increase this cap signficantly, loosen up the practice restrictions, and replace Dean Blandino asap or else this product is going to keep deteriorating.
Sooo...Dallas is sorry so the NFL is whack...:mjlol:foh nikka...maybe Jerry Jones is deteriorating:shaq:...why don't you make a thread about that and how you all wasted a decade plus on romo:francis:...FOH wit this shyt

Seattle was sorry as fukk before a few years ago...nobody cryin now ...leagues evolve...just so happens that the leagues evolution means the Cowboys decent:steviej:
