Football in general is just hard to watch..

Hit a QB helmet at all...penalty...

Hit a QB below the waist...penalty...

Hit the QB anything over a millisecond after he releases the ball...penalty...

Touch a receiver past 5 yards...penalty...

Hit a reciever before he makes a football move...penalty...

Catch a pass and take two steps...sometimes it's a catch sometimes not

Catch a pass and not even take one step...sometimes it's a catch sometimes not...

The game is slanted so toward offense that in a historical sense I am starting to have a hard time taking these numbers serious...

Imagine what Jerry would have put up if you couldn't touch him at all...

Imagine what Moss would have put up if you couldn't touch him at all...

All the excessive whining is a turn off...after EVERY fukkING PASS PLAY...a receiver is yelling at a ref...a QB is yelling at a ref for a flag...the DB is yelling at the ref claiming the receiver held him...

Dez my nikka but in that bucs game he was asking for a flag against sterling moore when sterling moore was never within 5 yards of him...Dez dropped the ball and started yelling at the ref claiming he was held...sterling moore played about 8 yards off the dude...

Coaching is horrendous...Beli...Riverboat Ron...and I cannot believe I am typing this...but Marvin fukking Lewis...have been the only "good" coaches all year...

Organizations as a whole are bad...The Broncos out here shelling out top money for receivers at the same time they bring in a coach who wants to run it 35 times a game...

With HD and all the replays now it shines a bad light on the refs...ref blows an inadvertent whistle costing the patriots a touchdown...then they just throw a flag against rex to save face...

Lions lose a game because the refs don't know the rules...oh would you look at that if the playoffs started today seattle is in because of that one game...the lions are out otherwise they have the same record as seattle and own the tiebreaker...
I definitely agree with your lions point...that is unacceptable and it's the second year in a row the league has ensured the lions defeat. The Super Bowl last year was tainted because of the lions and cowboys calls and it's already tainted for the playoffs this year. The league doesn't understand this and doesn't get how damaging it is. It nullifies the seasons as a whole. Eventually the officials will ruin the sport...(nba officiating too, not as bad, but bad)

League is built around the QB but few actually playing well. Terrible QB play all round the league this year. :scust:

Imagine without Brady and Brees in a few years, and Arod five years down the road. :scusthov:

Goddamn brehs all of our teams suck. :mjcry:

Only the cheaters and irrelevant franchises like the Panthers and Bengals are doing well.

The rest of the league is mediocre or injury riddled. I'm starting to wonder if this league peaked in the 90s/00s. They got to increase this cap signficantly, loosen up the practice restrictions, and replace Dean Blandino asap or else this product is going to keep deteriorating.
COLI, let me handle this one :smugbiden:

Look "D-town" D Lo brown. This season has been magical. Romo goes down not once, but twice.
Your entire stanbase was like "Weeden and/or cassell will hold it down til Romo gets back" :laff:
Then yall was like "Aye.. Romo gonna win out, we can win the division still" :deadmanny:

Even had white america saying yall was the favorites vs Cam and the boys :dame:

So as usual, yall nikkaz fail to meet expectations that were never realistic. December is around the corner.
You get to play your rivals twice this month :blessed:
Your DIVISION leaders will see that ass, and whoop that ass come Monday night. I hope this is killing you
If I were you, I'd go cop that new Handball game that dropped recently. Football isn't really a texas thing anymore :manny:

IMO the three things watering down the product right now are the lakluster refs, increase in penalties, and injuries to stars. Hopefully this is just some crazy outlier year regarding the refs, but the injuries will never stop. Sport is just too violent. The one question I have is whether having a ton of mediocre teams is worse than a bunch of great and shytty teams.

Yeah...just like the Dez "catch"...dude foot touched the ground 3 times with position and somehow it is not a catch...then the ref has the nerve to say he didn't make a "football move" when he actually fumbled in the act of lunging...which is not a football move:russ:

Anything that is killing this sport are the rub plays...receivers are not even running routes anymore...just go run into a db covering another guy so that guy can go across the field...:russ: Makes it pretty much impossible to watch a green bay game or a new england game...

Pats fans out here tripping off Gronk injury and that is not even your real problem or what might kill your season...it's all them little white receivers who got hurt and now none of your receivers know how to run into a nickel back like :manny: to make it seem like it isn't a rub play...they get edelman or amendola back and they will be fine...

Yea...we give Brady a lot of credit but they have illegal picks going on all over the field...and to be honest even with amendola, cuz Edelman is probably done, I don't think the pats are the squad...their defense lacks and they seem to be trying to live up to the standard of belli and Brady more than actually being that standard. Pats could very easily be a three loss team right now...they're not so it's a mute point...but still they've squeaked by til now.

When they played the Cowboys and Hardy was on the verge of killing him they must have ran them shyts for half the second quarter :russ:

Church, Wilcox, and Jones like

The entire division sucks dumbass. This isn't a homer thread. The entire league is weak this year.
There are plenty of relevant teams in the league that are doing fine. The NFC East sucks (especially the Cowboys) but there is plenty of good exciting football going on.

If Dem Boys were doing well I don't think this thread would have even been made

Perhaps some of you guys are way too invested in it?

Breh you got a QB 19th in passing yards, 29th in completion percentage & 19th in QB Rating as a leading MVP candidate

Redskins in first place :francis:

The "winner" of the AFC South :scust:

Can WOATdell just hit reset and start this bullshyt over again?
