I was listening to a good YouTube video on a similar topic. There's no lightskin A-list movie stars. Terrance Howard, Michael Ealy, Jeffrey Wright and Shamar Moore might be the only ones. Breh from Bridgeton needs a longer resume. Terrence is the only one who's "arguably" A-list.

Hollywood seemingly doesn't cast lightskin brehs nearly as much as brownskin/dark-skinned actors. For actresses it was the opposite until the last 10 years or so.

And of course this is rooted in racial stereotypes. So I imagine comicbooks have a similar reason why.

Most comic artists/character designers are white, and they think all black people look the same. That’s personally why I think that’s why there aren’t any lightskinned heroes.
