to the first 3 posters...how do you explain Duncan having so many more titles than Hakeem?

what if he wins this year and adds a 5th

what does he have to do surpass Hakeem? and the answer better not be...GO BACK IN TIME

he can't do anything its not about surpassing its just talent wise dream is better overall

smh @ mike being the reason the dream didn't win more titles..

the bulls didn't play the rockets in the finals so that argument is pointless

:wtf:

the Rockets fell apart after Ralph Sampson got injured and then traded him. They missed the playoffs one time.

It had nothing to do with Mike and Magic and everything to do with the Rockets franchise being a mess, and Hakeem not being focused himself.

I hate when people drop the simple "oh, Mike and Magic were in their way" when the only time Hakeem faced Magic in the playoffs, the Rockets beat them, and they only made the finals 3 times.

as for Duncan in that era, I dont see why not? Dude woulda been either the first or 2nd best big man in the late 80s/early 90s.

Not even david Robinson won titles during that time period but we suppose to believe duncan would have with his spurs team:mjpls::deadrose:

So duncan would have been better than hakeem, admiral, shaq, and ewing

and I don't know what jordan had to do with hakeem, being that they weren't even in the same conference.

Duncan>Robinson, Shaq, Ewing

I dont know who to take when it comes to Hakeem, tbh. I think they are close, and its a pickem.

15 years now, and people dont realize how great of a player Duncan is. You are watching an absolute legend, appreciate him now before he retires.

Yes, Duncan is better. Winning does matter. And the fact Dream wasnt able to lead his team out of the first round on a couple occasions, so the "Jordan was in his way" thing doesnt work. Dream had better post moves and had a more visually appealing game, but Duncan had a more effective game because of his size and durability.

But the west then had better post players then the west of today. Two many wannabe stretch fours who you can back off and let them miss shots all day. Plus those rockets didnt have the coaching or talent duncan has had in his career. Only if you count washed up versions of clyde, chuck, pippen etc.

As crazy as this sounds zo before the kidney problems might be just as good if not better than duncan. Injuries to hardaway, mashburn, jones and others killed those teams.and the big men in the east had to deal with thug niccas like oakley, mason and others
