He telegraphed the takedown a bit much and didnt penetrate his lead leg into his opponent enough essentially causing him to dive forward and use a little more power then he would have had to use if he had stepped the leg more between ol boys legs, before initiating the takedown, pause.

I'm watching the replay and Whiteside is going at him the entire game. Staredowns after scoring, talking shyt, getting their arms tangled up. Whiteside is aggressive calling for the ball on post-ups and seems to enjoy doing the dirty work on Defense. He has a real mean streak to back up his great play.
Tough bigs who score in the paint and block shots are a sight for sore eyes in this era of every big shooting jumpers from 18+ feet.
Beyond them there's Dieng, Rudy Gobert, Nerlens, Mason Plumlee...not saying all these guys will end up on the same level but I think C is a rising position just from the 2013/14 drafts. 2015 will have a few gems as well.
