Man sometime in the future I may get in the acidemia business, this market will never fall and has been profitable for decades.
Breh I come across this shyt so much out here it infuriates me man.Plenty of people struggling because they tried to "follow their dreams" and do what they thought was best.
For kids who are upper-middle class, and have parents who tell them to be bankers, managers, lawyers, doctors, dentists, etc.
Parental advice is better than running the streets of LA trying to be an actor/photographer/model/Youtube personality.
Was she a corporate attorney, in public-interest, or federal?shyt that's nothing. My ex was an attorney and, in 2012, had $250k in negatively amortizing student loans. It was honestly one of the reasons I broke up with her. Last I heard she was back in school for some other shyt too. She was an attorney, though, so the potential existed for her to pay it down.

I agree my father in Luanda was trying to make me, conform to his ideals. My old man ended up going into depression when I dropped out of University, but I told him that I wasn't doing my best because I wasn't invested in my studies and I told him "it's not like you are paying for my tuition fees anyway" Eventually he respected my decision, but was still disappointed. It took me awhile to man up and tell him what I was planning to do because I cared too much about what my dad and others thought of me. However, It's always advised that an individual has more than one plan as this life has a shyt ton of roadblocks that are there for you to fail and never get back up from failiure.People gotta stop living for their parents.
Your parents are gonna grow old and die and youre gonna be by yourself one day
Its your life. Not theirs.
People gotta do whats best for them... Not blindly following their parents or society.
I assume you are from the U.S. you're country thrives off loans and debts. So basically the children will grow up being indoctrinated to that mindset.nah. u cant expect a young kid to know the consequences of loans. if anyone is to blame, its her parents for not helping her understand what loans mean and how she has to pay them back

That V100 corporate salary will let her pay it off in a few years if she's diligent.
PSLF will forgive her loans if she's federal/state or public-interest.
Luckily my dad lives in another country so when he received my revelation he couldn't do shyt and even if he could the dude is only 5'6 or 5'5. My mother supported me wholeheartedly so at the start there was no rush to leave the premises. Eventually, I left because I wanted my own space.Man.... My same exact problems bro. Lol.
Pops actually sqaured up with me when I told him I was dropping out.
He went thru a series of emotions.... Shock... Sadness... Betrayal... Anger.... And then he squared up and start throwing haymakers hahahaha
I respect my pops too much to fight the nikka back so I just had to take those few punches
I moved out a couple weeks later.
My folks wont allow you to live on their dime if youre not going to school.
Luckily I had bread stacked already.
Left & never came back.

It's too much info out there to still be falling for this

Drama I don't know, but every corporation I've worked for has a huge communications dept. Whether its for marketing or crisis management, corporations need people to clean up and tune the message. She didn't necessarily pick a bad major, she just went about it in a really bad way.No sympathy for her. The hell are you going to do with a drama and communications degree?!![]()
