Never a one on one fade. 
The only time I was about to get rolled on I turned into fukking herschel walker though
. nikkas walked with me for a block acting like they were talking to dude i was with cause he knew some of them. they formed a circle around me and one kid socked me, i socked dude back and was GONE.
Gave no fukks about traffic or cars, literally ran like 3 city blocks full speed and wasn't tired at all
fukk all that. nikkas be getting jaws broke and beat into comas when they get dipped on where i'm from. escape and regroup, fukk pride

In middle school, this masculine lesbian upperclassman who was into boxing or something like that was trying to fukk with me at lunch. I had enough and stood up, and then she stood up...and then visions of me getting washed ran through my mind....so I sat back down and silently kept eating my lunch.

But a major reason I had no issues in highschool is cause I'm a pretty decent communicator. nikkas who did have beef with me eventually wound up being dudes to kick it with.
This helps greatly when dealing with Chicago dudes.

Nah, but I was luck one day in highschool when I got witness a kid I went to elementary/middle school with get into a scrap with two other guys. I dont know why, but this kid was always getting into some shyt. Maybe it was because his name was Courtney?
Anyways, the reason I was lucky to see it go down was because our school would bulk order Papa Johns and sell slices after school. So I decide to buy a few and instead of taking the main hallway to my bus I decide to take go another way to avoid people asking me if they can have a piece or slice.
As I made it outside I see the a fairly small group of people no where near the school buses and as soon I saw the first punch thrown I hustled up so I could get a good view.
Story was off topic but I always found it amusing how me not wanting to share some pizza led to me getting a front row view of a "good 'ol after school scrap".

my middle school was right around the corner from some projects that "beefed" with ours
there was this Deebo type nikka name Surge...he wasn't brolic like deebo dude was just menacing
and he was 18 with a six pack
he would wait until the school let nikkas out for gym and pick a fresh dressed nikka walk over to em
tell em to take off his shoes, this one cat from my projects got caught up me and this kid from jersey
peeped it like "aww shyt", he asked dude to take of his shoes and as soon as dude declined he cracked him
(Knocked Out)...then he took his shoes off and left the court with em...slowly
I stayed fresh in dem days, and I had a girl...I couldn't be taking no L's like that on the court...dude from my
hood who got dropped stayed out of school for a week because all he kept hearing was "nikka surge knocked
you the fukk out!" me running into Surge on the court was a nightmare of mine, I would duck that nikka
every day at gym, our gym teacher hipped security to what was going on with the robberies, security guards
started hanging out back of the building... after a while everybody was hooping unafraid ...even me
me and a couple nikkas had a game of 21, mid game I noticed everyone's facial expression changed
I turn around and Surge is right there....
"Run them shoes lil nikka"
I look down
eastbay just dropped these off yesterday...oh lord
I notice that Surge had 3 other nikkas with em...I cant go home without these my dad will flip
I look around ...no security to be found ...ooh lord
dude repeats himself... I say "it's whatever"
he swung but put a lil pump fake on it...as soon as I got hit I grabbed Surge and we both hit the ground
I felt one of his nikkas grabbing my legs n shyt trying to get the shoes off
Surge jumps to his feet and kicks me twice in the chest, lil nikka gets my shoes off and him and Surge run off w/ em
a crowd formed around us, I'm looking around trying to see where they ran off to
then I see my nikka who started the game of 21 on the ground bleeding with footprints all over him, rabbit ear pockets,
with no shoes...I helped him up and helped him into the gym
