i havent changed my mind on too many issues. im pro abortion, the war on drugs is a disgrace, the wars in the middle east are crimes against humanity, the rich have enough money, you should be deported if you come here illegally, pensions are a disaster and disgrace, etc. pick an issue and i have an opinion that doesnt correspond with a party

but watching how the republicans have acted for the past 10 years has ensured that i will never cast a vote for this incarnation of that party. and i agree with them on some issues, but as a whole, they're human garbage

I personally think there's no correct context to denote right or left.

I feel like my views have become more center, but not in the typical sense of reasoning like a right wing individual.

I just clash with certain theoretical ideologies on the left.

There's definitely some issues I'm really conservative on, but regarding most issues and topics that I'm completely liberal.

Gang violence...
This. I don't even know why, because people as they grow older tend to become more conservative and less radical. I have a lot more money and I definitely have more shyt to lose now than before.

It a probably the feeling of this country needing a real change for once.
i dont really believe people become more conservative as a general rule. i think some people do because of certain facts in their lives, and others do not. i think a lot of sellouts and ghouls just tell themselves that their behavior is the natural course of events because of a guilty conscience

This is something boomers have told us, but its not true.

The FDR/Great Depression generation were social democrats until they died off in the 80s and 90s.

The truth is the boomers were always conservative.

I’m much more left/progressive now but in my early 20s I was apathetic and I only paid attention on the surface. Then I started working with a poverty nonprofit, Trump got elected, and Kaepernick started protesting. Those three things pushed me to pay more attention and learn how unfair things really are for most of us, hence the hard left turn.

I dont know, Ive seen my relatives and even quite a lot of my friends become more conservative. Especially those who settled down.

On economics or social issues? As a general rule of political science, an individual's politics don't change much after their early 20s absent some major event. They probably just become more focused on self and are unaware of what is going on.

I was apathetic mostly until after leaving the navy and experiencing life with whites and blacks and seeing life for how it is. even more so the past few years. now I'm a solid leftie sans a miniscule amount of issues

I’m entirely cynical and indifferent. I’m more left than when I was like 18 but I’ve been the same person since 21. I just no longer care to pay attention to the bullshyt. And I would argue that I am representative of our generation.
This ive always leaned left... the progressive movement kinda gave me hope but now I'm just cynical... i just think our government is incompetent
