So finally I got my own place around the Jersey shore (maybe 5 min drive to the beach). Nice spot thats a 2 bedroom. I can clearly afford the rent by my own but I was thinking getting a roommate wouldnt be a bad idea; hence, its all about making and saving money at the end of the day.....right?
I posted an ad for that and I got a ton of replies especially from females (early 20s to late 30s). The only time I had roomies was in college and it was all guys and we got along pretty well. No drama. But now I am in my early 30s.......so mentally I am way different than when I was in my early 20s.
Has anyone ever had a female roommate? I am just shaky about it because their moods flactuate faster than the dow Jones or should i just stick to brehs? Help a brother out.
This topic has been brought up numerous times on the board and I always chime in with the same answers...
1. She's going to bring dudes over to smash...if they are anything like me they'll go to the bathroom and wipe their dikk on the first loose piece of cloth so bye bye hand towels...
2. Eventually she'll smash a random dude or two...one of them is bound to be shiesty and case the place you might end up with missing shyt or burglarized later...
3. I ain't trying to hear a female roomate gettin her back blown out at random points of the night..
4. she gets into with a man as far as fighting he's banging on your door drunk acting up ....nah im good
There's more but those are key deterrents

Sex in the house should be a no no with guest. Get a hotel

@Methodical one of my boy's....his gf's dad has alot of property. Since I hang out alot with the family, the dad said he will charge me the 2 bedroom for the price of a one bedroom...i couldnt say no.
A few really good points have been thrown around. Tbh........i think I was thinking completely with my dikk. I can afford the place on my own, no hustle. I will just go solo and maybe turn the 2nd room into a guest room/ weight room.Nice.
If I were you. I don't want any damn roommate.
Your own place>>>>>>>Have a roommate unless if you tight with your money.

You better off live your own without having a roommate, trust me on this. Cause it's nice to live your own place. I understand about saving $$$ but you would be glad not to have a roommate.
Why do you need two bedroom? beside, I understand for an office room or a guest room thou
i have never had points 1, 3, and 4 happen...who the fukk wipes their dikk on a towel when toilet paper is right there? the fukk raised you?burglarized? if breh doesn't shack up with a hoodbooger - which it doesn't sound like given the location of his apt/house - none of that is happening.
and yall need to stop with women are messy, messiness is person to person, regardless of gender. i know i'm neurotically clean (friends make fun of me for it), most my other friends are clean, a few are a bit disorganized/have junk but are still clean, and only one is a person whose shyt is always messy - she's still clean, but just the type to have shyt lying all over the place.

i have never had a dude steal anything from me...but i don't deal with sketchy people. and i'm sure not letting just any dude i'm talking to come to my crib.See this is how I know you aren't a dude. There's some complications with using toilet paper. That shyt ain't happening
And women of all kinds like a bunch of hood ass random thieving ass dudes. She could seem like a saint and still kick it with a dude that wouldn't think twice about snatchin your watch on the way out.![]()
