Don't be angry at me that your standom has you delusional.
Nikka said his power forward does everything well except score and rebound :dead:
He scores and rebounds clearly, he's averaging 18/8 but he's not an elite or all star level rebounder. He's not 25/14 elite level scorer/rebounder. He's not 21/10 all star level scorer/rebounder. He's a good scorer and rebounder. He doesn't have that scoring mentality like Webber nor does he rebound the ball at an AS level like Webber.

But in most aspects of the game, he's much better and more impactful.

Al Horford is vastly underrated. One of the best players in the NBA. He does everything at a very good or elite level outside of scoring and rebounding. His percentages, BBIQ, defensive ability, lateral quickness, shooting ability, passing, court vision, ball handling, versatility, athletic ability is top notch. He's a better player than prime Webber. It's not even close either. Webber really only gave you work on the offensive end. Somewhat like a PF version of Melo but Webber has more impact while having less skill due to his BBIQ.

I hear people saying Marc Gasol is one of the best players in the NBA but don't mention Horford and it's disrespectful.
You dont have to seel me on Horford, breh. I love the guy. But he's no Webber.... nope.

Cats forgetting Webber's handles and passing pretty much almost made him a PG in a power forward's body. Webb was the first PF ive seen that could comfortably lead the break and do it better than most PGs. Hell when he was in DC he was pretty much the team's PG

  • Webber has slightly more range than Horford
  • Passing is about the same.
  • Rebounding is about the same
  • Defense is about the same
  • Webber had better handles than Horford
  • Both their back to the basket games could use some work but Webber's is a but more fluid while i feel Horford simply doesnt get the ball down low enough.

But with less heart
Where this no heard shyt come from. We had an owner who was racist and got ousted, hell LAC fell off for that shyt.
We had a GM do the same.
We had two players get run thru by the NYPD and one was out for the season.
We had a player this summer get hit with ABC charges and everyone still playing and winning. Not to mention we was in the ECF with mad injuries. fukk outta here with the no heart shyt. We got more heart than 99% of the NBA.

:dahell, NOW you KNOW you can't prove that shyt. Horford mid range game has been noted by stats to be on per with Dirk and you got the nerves to say C-Webb had more range. :dead:

The only range you can even compare it to is Dirk, :dead: C-Webb. :camby:

Passing is similar. Agreed.

Rebounding is Webber. Maybe equal before Coach Bud's system but with Bud, Horf isn't an all star level rebounder anymore.

Defense is not even close. Horford can defend three positions, Horford off ball defense is elite. Horford man defense is sound. Horford lateral quickness is elite for a big. Horford is probably the best defender in the NBA for a big who isn't a defensive anchor like Tim Duncan or Tyson Chandler.

It's close. Webber had better iso handles. Horford has much better open court handles. Both are plus ball handlers for their position.

Back to the basket is not even close, Webber and there is a massive gap.

The biggest gap is overall defense (Horford) and footwork (Webber). Horford has poor footwork. Webber had some of the best feet in the NBA during his time in the league. While Webber is not a poor defender, he's nowhere near the class of Horford.

Al's scoring is like Nash.
It's like Steve Nash. While Nash shoots at amazing percentages, he can't score at an All Star or Elite level. Same for Horford.

I think this is hard for the average fan to get but it's simple. Horford don't want to score like that. He wants the best possible shot. Webber will take a tough jumper. Webber will take on a double team and honestly, his combination of his footwork and handles usually means he can handle it much better than Horford and he doesn't mind the best possible shot. It is what it is but most fans aren't that deep. They don't see it like that. They look at the stats and be like, 30/15, Kevin Love is the best player in the NBA. :dead: Fans aren't that smart b.

We'll just agree to disagree, doggy. You're clearly blinded and biased because you have a dog in the fight.

We comparing Chris Webber to horford and millsap now?!:russ: No way only on the coli!
Dont...d.. dont do it breh. Some Hawks fans be on that sh!t. you cant reason with them when they're this high off their own product. :russ:
They got a good team i'll give them that. I expected them to be in the finals last year. No idea how they locked up like that vs CLE. :manny: Teague made me swallow my words the last 2 years. But as good as i think they are some of them think they're 10 times better than that, even. :deadmanny:

I'll give them props tho. As bad as they may seem I'll kick it with Hawks set before i try to reason with Falcons fans.:russ:

Well he plays C, he naturally a PF, and can guard the 3. I've seen Horford guard Lebron in the perimeter pretty good.
Wasnt Webber playing C in DC with Juwan Howard playing PF? :jbhmm: I could be wrong. But i know he played Center in GS for sure
