Teague at his peak is an All Star PG, problem is he doesn't play to that level consistently, he plays more like an average PG content with mediocre PG numbers. I thought that maybe we could get more for Teague than Noel but the more I've thought about it maybe we can't. If this is the best deal we can make for Teague then do it
I think our idea of all star PG is different than realty. The Jeff that played this year wasn't any worse than the year before. He was better. You might want to say he needed to be more aggressive but he was that aggressive as an all star. The difference was it was clicking around him that year and this year it wasn't. Bazemore didn't fit like Carroll and Korver impact dwell.
Teague shot better and scored better this year than last. He was just as good at passing while being better at turnovers.
Some of y'all want Jeff to force his talent like Dennis but Jeff more of a true PG nowadays, he focus on running the offense and getting us the best possible looks.

Teague struggled the first part of the year and got better as the year went on. Truth is he's got all the talent but doesn't have that "dog" in him to be consistent and aggressive enough every night. You can talk stats all you want but in a feel for the game perspective he's just not the leader he needs to be especially in the clutch. I'm all for moving him for the right guy and if Noel is that dude then I'm all for it. We already know what we're gonna get from Teague every night, I want to see something different, whether it's better or worse
Ankle injury that he played through. Once he got well, he performed very well as did Kyle Korver.
I told you think years ago, Jeff ain't no #1 or #2 option. That's not his focus. He could have that KJ talent but his mind is all about the team. That's all he's about. That's why I said what I told you back then. What I am happy about is his improving his PG skills. I am very happy with that.
We were the worst team in the NBA in the clutch this year. No one from Al to Dennis should be excluded from that. We were bad.

He's an expendable piece breh. You value some of these Hawks players like they're gold. Teague's a good player, Al's a good player, etc but are they great? No. Will they ever be? Probably not. If neither one of them come back I'm gonna salute em for reppin the squad but ultimately not miss them that much. I'm tired of settling for good, I want great. Jeff's not great and doesn't want to be great and that's fine. He's still a top 15 PG and I'm sure a lot of teams would love him to be their PG but I want a PG who wants to be great. We don't have that and that's why I'm cool with him getting traded

They are gold. They helped us win 60 games and have more success than we had as a franchise. This idea of greatness is misguided. How many PG's out here great. Curry, Westbrook, Lillard. Not one of them defend all that well.
