Tell them to drop tuition rates. What i look like spending 20k plus a yr on anything?yeah I know there have been tons of articles saying this, but I just saw it for my own eyes.
I'm on biz travel near Hampton University, my alma mater, so I decided to drop in and talk to one of my old professors.
one of the main parking lots, we used to call Africa because it was so damn far, was completely empty
I then looked up the current enrollment...around 4300
The enrollment when I graduated in 2006 was 6300
I still believe HBCUs are necessary in America, especially in today's climate. Why is that we're turning our backs on the greatest source of black doctors, nurses, and engineers?
only thing we got out here on the west coast is king drew(medical school)...
But CC's and Universities are dirt cheap out here
Idk why more brehs don't take advantage of it
wouldn't a 100% increase on $3500 be $7000 while a 130% on $3500 be around $8200? bruh i must be really bad at mathMan idk about others but I went to NSU and sad to say it's almost like a racket. My freshman year (2004) tuition was $3500 for a year. I was on a presidential scholarship cuz of my grades and basically had a full ride...only had to pay $500 out of pocket a yearso I went 2 years...got caught up in all the partying, chicks, etc, ended up losing the scholarship cuz I had to maintain a 3.5 and ended sophomore year with a 3.1. Took some time off went back to register in 08 and tuition jumped to $4800 a semester
that's like 130% increase. I would hate to see what it is now

People in Cola clown Benedict but it's actually not that bad of a school![]()
to my Benedict Africans. .. wouldn't hesitate to pull up.
None of them having engineering programs![]()

From what I understand:
Severe admin and money fukkery is what has done some HBCUs in.
Also, I think some HBCUs were getting so bad they were letting damn near any low performing student in.
I talked about that before. All the big named schools are big because of sports and black athletes. These schools are funded because of black athletes; the university of alabama currently football program is valued at 93 million and the university of texas of austin is worth 129 million. Integration fukked up a lot of money for black people.

" or people from HBCUs to be like "You went to PWI? You must love being around them cacs
" is kinda corny. Everyone has their reasons for going to one vs. the other, whether financial, geographic, upbringing, etc. At the end of the day just be glad we all trying to further our education in some shape or form
What time were you there because if i recall that Parkinglot was usually clear and damn near empty by a certain time
. classes were definitely in session
. SC used to be poppin 11-1 everydayNothing worse than delusionally bourgeois negroes. "Where are we gonna get our next blackity black doctors, lawyers, small town novelists who solve murders, top secret agents, scientists injected with experimental serums that turn them into superheroes, that will continue the tradition of leeching from and simultaneously looking down upon the blackity black community?"
I swear u nikkas suck, man. Straight up and down, corny as fukk n have no goddamn idea. Ur the a$$holes strangling the black community n u sit around shaking ur lil peanut 2nd generation of wealth heads at real nikkas. Man, fukk y'all and fukk ur jheri curl ass colleges.

Do ur research and choose appropriately. NCCU Law was a great choice for me. I have a few friends who went to graduate school for engineering a t A&T who are also doing well. There are networks for "us" can provide opportunities which you would not have otherwise had access.Wow, & I was considering a HBCU for grad school.I'm not sure how I feel about this.
I need to check on my school.
