It's understandable. He hasn't been in the ring since Mania 26, and probably felt he wouldn't be able to give AJ his all for that match. There's no shame in that.

The Zayn hate is just character vs workrate. You cannot hate on samis ability. It's insanity to do so. But there really isn't a tangible reason for many fans to like him. Like I said previously "I'm a good wrestler" isn't enough for most
