Salute to Cotto for a great career
Gotta give world kid his props..this is the second time he beat someone I thought would KO him..first it was Abregu who Timmy had his hands full with but Ali soundly Ko'ed him...and now Cotto...the same Cotto who wasn't even wobbled or hurt once against Canelo but Ali had him on skates all throughout the fight. With being said I just don't see Ali keeping that belt for very long.
That motherfukker Vargas is tough...dude's eyes were turned into bloody slits and still moved forward to win. But I thought the scores were too wide. Good card from HBO last night.
Ali whooped on Cotto when he actually wanted to box. The middle rounds were the only ones Cotto looked good in. If Ali pressed he could have KO'd Cotto, although he knocked the life out of him with that left hook. Ali got some pop, but he's not made for.
