Me and my wife still loved it tho, and we never gave up on naz, unlike his momma.

But it sucks tho cuz naz is headed down a path now...

What I still don't get is how they never question why naz wasn't covered in blood that night. Neither was his inhaler in the photo....and from the time he left till the time he got picked up, he didn't have enough time to clean off that much blood. There would have been blood all over him and his clothes when they collected his shyt for evidence

That isn't how investigations work. Plus it was such an obvious thing to look into, especially when u take his clothes for evidence. That shyt isn't that cut and dry, even the good detective in all the shyt he question never asked the question "why wasn't he covered in blood after savagely stabbing someone to death"
my guess is because they fukked they probably assumed Nas was naked when he killed her and thats why it wasnt any blood on his clothes

I gotta disagree...that last 10 mins had me rivitied to the point I hadn't been in years watching a show.

The scenes of him leaving Rikers...the doubt they gave you leaving it open that Omar wasnt gonna let him leave...

The f'ed up way another person is claimed by a broken system. The actual killer doesn't matter. The show was about Nas story. And as it showed, guilty or not his life is pretty much a complete train wreck

I loved how it was ended personally.
I did too.

I dont think crehs understood what the show is about. The criminal justice system corrupts everyone. Makes cops and prosecutors attempt to convict an innocent man. Turns an innocent man into a criminal. Can destroy a lawyer's career. And it damages families.

A lot of the crehs wanted a "whodunit" or something like True Detective season one when this show was never about that.

Saying all of that, they did a terrible job with Chandra's character. I believed the love angle. Her bringing the rocks for Naz was completely unbelievable.

they took pictures of his body when he got booked. No blood was hers, all he had was scratch marks on his back. And there's a solution they use to detect trace amounts of blood on your body even if you attempt to wash it off

I'm amazed stone never used it as a defense...

Had a spark when it started.... Yall know the rest... :sas2:

I just want to know why Chandra would want to jeopardize her career like that... we really should have got a back story for that disaster..

That break-up and the pressure from the case hit her HARD, apparently. Her dude must've been wearing that out for her to spiral like that.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
The ending wasnt anything dramatic or anything. Just what wiukd happen normally.

I didnt like how chandra just dissapeared. They didntveven show her n nas having a moment.

Nas came outta this better than most. My cousins were locked up for some bs kidnapping shyt n were locked down 8 months. Both came out in a sinilar fashion.

The detective went to the DA with evidence that logically exonerates Naz and she ignored it.

She didn't ignore.. Naz was just the easier conviction...... hence the premise of the show displaying how flawed the justice system is... even tho the prosecutor and Box both had a gut feeling that Naz was innocent....
