Jay z is antichrist though. Look at Jay quoting a known devil worshipper in this demonic photograph.

Jay Z admits it himself that he's a hustler disguised as a rapper. I hate how he talks about he's all about the culture like the hypocrite that he is when he was just using rap to get rich. I see where Kanye West gets it from. :patrice:

Hov' can be a bandwagonner but he still put in work over the years. you can't take that away from him. he wouldn't be where he is unless there was something to it.

Yea he's a hustler but are u that naive to believe he doesnt care about the artform or the culture

See this is how I can peep who's just skimmin and whos payin attention

You think the culture and genre that saved his life, he has no care for it.

nikka u realize that Hov is well off with his business ventures that he doesnt even need rap to eat good??

U realize that he can let these youngins get they shine and eat off of they hard work(Cole, Wale, Kanye, etc.)

U realize that this dude is still rappin primarily cause the nikka has been doin it 20 years....u cant just do it for so long and say its just for the money
He obviously cares about being regarded as the greatest..and only one who truly cares about something cares about being heralded as the best at that thing?

U realize that this new method of releasing his album will elevate Hip Hop on an even higher standing as a music genre and will open up new avenues for hip hop artists of the future to prosper even more off these innovations..and not only that but also this has reminded as that hip hop music is valuable and is a big deal..something many have forgot in this "internet" era?

Ur words make me conclude that ur not a participant but more like a clueless outsider...but i aint mad at ya tho:smugbiden:

But next time..keep those stupid conclusions to yourself breh:scusthov:

This. People say Jay commercialized hip hop because me made hot tracks that dominated mainstream. And so what? He's a hustler.

Jay Z has always and always will be about money.

:rudy:

Any rapper that spends so much time rapping for little to no money, that they eventually get very fukkin' good at it... is not just rapping because they want to make money. You know who the rappers are who just wanna make money and "don't care about the culture"? The nikkas who admit they can't rap, the nikkas who don't even appear to have respect for the artists/music that preceded them, the nikkas that make music with no intention of it making impact as long as they can score a quick hit off of it... none of these things describe Jay-Z's career at all. If it was like that, Jay coulda skipped battling nikkas in pool halls 'nshyt, and just put on some Hammer pants and got signed way before '96. I really doubt dude was rappin' at open mics with nikkas we've never heard of, thinkin' "yeah, this is gonna get me paid!"

Sure, he gives a fukk about the money. But since when did being about the culture mean being a broke nikka who just wants to rap for his health? Cause far back as I can recall, money has always played a part in hip-hop culture. Even when nikkas were broke, rapping at block parties, there were rappers who portrayed and rhymed about having money and being fly. Only over the last 20 years have nikkas been tricked into this belief that being about hip-hop means you have to be a starving artist who's disinterested in making money as long as people get to hear your theories on life 'nshyt.

I think dude is tryin to say Puff/Biggie started that flossy/jiggy shyt in the game. Before Bad boy I don't remember alot of high fashion name drops, nikkas talkin about vvs diamonds etc..they took it to another level. The rap game became not only about how you sound but what you look like, what you're driving, your jewelry and money when Big and Puff were at the forefront of the game, especially after Biggie died, the corny million dollar videos and glossy sound of 1997 changed everything in the worst way.

Jay-Z just dikkrode the mafioso trend of 95-96 and did the same thing in 97 with Jiggy rap..nothing was his fault cause he wasn't thought about in the golden era.

I find it funny that so many people hated on Puff back then too but now he's the one to be. :rudy:
