THIS CONVO WASNT EVEN
ABOUT JOKIC.
IT WAS ABOUT HIGHSMITH
SHUTTING DOWN MURRAY
IN THE 2ND HALF.

JOKIC DIDNT HAVE
TO HE SPECTACULAR BECAUSE
MURRAY WAS SPECTACULAR
IN THAT SERIES.

JOKIC DIDNT HAVE TO
SCORE IN THE 1ST HALF 2NITE
BECAUSE MURRAY HAD 24 IN THE
FIRST HALF.

JOKIC GONNA DO WHAT HE DO...

MURRAY HAS BEEN THE KEY
IN ALL OF THESE SERIES.

a ton of murray offense is generated off jokic screens. he's getting wide open mid range jumpers and 3s just cause teams are teriffied to not have a body on or near jokic at all times. he's coming off jokic screens and getting to the launching pad with opportunities for a floater
it aint like mitchell robinson setting a pick for brunson and they can ignore him play drop and funnel murray into traps and double teams.
it aint like robert williams setting a screen for jaylen brown and his shakey ass left hand running pick and roll.
every single time the game gets out of order they cleared a side and ran pick and roll...and frankly its just a matter of them missing or not...cause regardless they're getting an open shot.
people can say the heat missed a lot of open looks. shyt....the nuggets DEFINITELY did too.

I actually like the recent trend of a different team winning the NBA Finals every year, makes the NBA more interesting because it's a lot more unpredictable. Regardless of whether Denver or Miami win the Finals, I appreciate the fact that it's different teams this year. I also think it's dope this year because Denver has never been to the Finals and Miami is an 8th seed that many people, including myself, bet against in every series they had thus far.
:ehh:

on a side note Steph Curry and Jokic play so effortless on offense

Jokic isn't just an elite screener but his ability to roll, short pass out of the roll, pop, pass out of the pop, gives him elite PnR versatility. I don't know if I've seen anything like Jokic before as a big. With the way the PnR is used in the modern NBA, actions are king and Jokic has more actions on the PnR than any other big I've seen. He's not the best roller or popper but he has the most available actions

Domantas shows a lot of this as well but he doesn't give you the isolation ability nor does he have the size to wear you down

YEP...

HE GONNA REALIZE
HE CAN PLAY LOVE AGAIN
WHEN ITS TOO LATE ASWELL.

I think he may go big instead and start Love instead of Caleb which would be a mistake. Bam and Highsmith have shown that they are capable of switching and that Murray/Joker pick and roll.

Putting in Love for “size” doesn’t solve the problem at all. Size is never the issue. It’s switchability

IT WORKS BOTH WAYS.

THEYRE EATING OFF
OF EACH OTHER.

THE POINT IS IF
JOKIC CAN HAVE A RUNNING MATE
AVERAGING 28, 6 & 6
ON 48/40/93 FOR THE ENTIRE
PLAYOFFS DENVER IS UNSTOPPABLE.

YOURE NOT GONNA STOP JOKIC
BUT IF YOU CAN STOP MURRAY
YOU GOT A CHANCE.

the only thing he CANT do is catch a lob lmao
the mother fukker hands is like fly traps. if you got touch like that ...a floater like his is basically a lob for 2 points anyway
