Bigger worry for Miami will be how do they keep him off the offensive glass and/or scoring in the paint.

Even taking Jokic out of the equation, 6-8 Gordon and 6-10 MPJ are going to have mismatches on most possessions. I'm really interested to see how the Heat plan to stop Denver from doing what they want from the low post down. The Nuggets have had three-straight series' of coming up against teams who're either bigger or equal to their size, and now the only thing standing in their way is a 6-8 Bam.

Gotta say I'm pulling for Denver here off the strength of Jokic. I like how he plays the game. No frills. No fluff. No theatrics. Just hits the clock, puts his head down, and goes to work. He just plays the game the right way. Humble, too. This is what the game has been missing.

I'm interested to see how Miami handles the altitude difference. They're one of the most conditioned teams in the league, but they've just come off a grueling seven-game series and have already gone through three rounds of play, whereas Denver has essentially had a week off and haven't really been pushed.

The Nuggets haven't lost at home during this playoff run either and the Heat don't wanna go back to Miami down 0-2 because then they'd be fighting an insurmountable uphill battle to drag it back.

Do the Heat put all their effort and resources into just Game 1 or Game 2 instead of both? It might seem foolhardy but they've got to pick their battles.
Potentially seven games left in the season and the first one is Thursday and The next one is Sunday ….GO ALL OUT.

I think your Boy Lowry is going to do somthing special on Thursday because he’s not being looked at as a threat… and lowkey he was a reason (spark plug) why Miami almost stole game 6 vs Boston (it just didn’t show up on the stat sheet)

I aint gone hold you the Nuggets aint faced a team of this caliber. All them nikkas they faced was trash. A team with KAT and Gobert is automatically trash. Suns was 2 players and shyt tier role players. Trash. Lakers role players was trash and AD was Bam-esque on offense. The Nuggets have had plenty of moments where they've gone cold and let teams back into games but their opponents couldn't capitalize. The heat's whole MO this playoffs is capitalizing on those moments. Heat packing these nikkas up.
Max Strus legacy series inbound:wow:

Miami has the FAR superior coach, but is low on talent and high on disappearing acts (Bam, Jimmy Butler). They also have no one for MPJ.

I don’t anticipate Jamal Murray playing as well as he’s played, but even with that Miami will probably not have enough to win 4 games. I hope I’m wrong because I’m all for the members.
