the initial pressure then going into the zone. it wasnt highsmith individually. it was the zone. if they ran traditional pnr coverage he'd get cooked too
that steal was a 94 feet away from the rim was a one off.

Highsmith did a much better job fighting through screens and even switched on to Joker a couple of times which allowed bam to switch on to Murray. There was a clear difference between Highsmith’s activity compared to Gabe/Caleb. He’s just longer and stronge (pause)

Nuggets are a next generational team. Every player in their starting lineup is a bucket. They are tall, fast and can pass. It’s cooked. These nikkas might back to back. Might 3 peat if healthy.
They used to be undersized, poor defensively, and was only going as far as Jokic could take them which wasn't too far.

So many good moves. Even though they have made some bad ones, they don't sit on their bad moves too long.

Thank the Knicks for Jamal Murray
Morris for KCP was awful for DC.
Bruce Brown was a terrific signing
While Orlando did well with the Vooch trade, the Gordon trade was a L.
Only bad deal was Thomas Bryant.
I am shocked by Jeff Green play over the last two years.

Good moves. Still major overpays from Denver but it came through

Denver
He still got injury prone players. Murray and MPJ can easily get hurt again
Murray isn’t injury prone, he just had one big injury. MPJ I kinda expect to miss every other season. But the nuggets are good enough to be contenders without mike, and with him they’re just scary good

This is the worst type of loss for Miami.

I said before the series that in the games they lose, they have to hope Denver shoots lights out so they can catch them on the other side of the law of averages. You can't give up games when Denver only shoots 29% from behind the arc.

Denver's only three losses this postseason came when they shot 32%, 33% and 34% from 3 - they've only had ONE game all playoffs shooting worse than that.

I hope Heat shows up and make this series watchable. That felt like a regular season game, all the way down to the ESPN presentation.

Everyone shoots bad against the Heat. It’s not a coincidence.
