dudes stay dikk sucking sony exclusives to the point where they'll fight you, even when ND is trying to fix the linear issues. same shyt with infamous, scared to hold these nikkas accountable :scusthov:
Linearity was never an issue breh :mindblown:

Think about this, how can ND be "fixing" something they wanted to design as linear?? Did you forget they made Jak and Daxter?? A Open world platformer BEFORE Uncharted?? What the fukk is "broken" about linearity??

They made TLOU?? A game that features bigger "open"linear scenes?

Did you forget about the docks section in UC3 which featured open arena like areas??

Linearity was their choice, not some struggle that they had to deal with. :snoop:

Do you nikkas even play games?

TEll me this, was Killzone Shadowfall, a non linear shooter better than Killzone 2???

Killzone 2 was linear and was WAY better than Shadowfall which had big open spaces.

per the original post: "- Focusing on navigational freedom for this entry"

clearly they realize its too linear and want to open it up a bit, which they should

Keyword, they "WANT" to open up some levels. They also said it will still have linear sections in the game. They didn't say "we couldn't make Uncharted 2/3 more open because of hardware constraints so thanks to the PS4's power we can do this finally.."

A game being "too linear" is the dumbest fukking critique I've heard and honestly it's a lazy ass critique because it really says nothing. A style of game which may or may not appeal to you doesn't make it objectively good/bad. Is modern warefare 2's campaign worse than Battlefield 4's because BF4's is not linear?? :sas2:
Quick, tell me what's better.. Battlefield 4 or Modern Warfare? :sas2:
Super Mario Kart or Diddy Kong Racing?
Crash Bandicoot 3 or Jak 3?

Just because they're doing new things to a game doesn't mean the old is bad. Druckmann said in the latest interview there will be more linear sections and more open sections in the demo.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with linear games, stop it slime.

yep, and it beats following a narrow hallway path with no devastations off the track, by far.

really? i never put 30 hours into a game i didn't like :mjpls: and i never called TR open world but we can all admit the stages are less linear than anything in the uncharted series

I dont know your definition of open world but tomb raider certainly did not fit MY definition of an open world game.

shyt had like 3 big open rooms that i remember, the rest of the game was just as linear as uncharted is.

Hell the game wasnt even close to being as open as last of us, and THAT game is linear too.

And i hope you dont mean me with that last post. I welcome the changes that are being talked about, i dont too much care for linear games unless they are great like max payne 3, and uncharted.

I hate when you nikkas bring up tomb raider like there were major difference compared to uncharted. Those games are more similar than they are different.

.

:yeshrug: i'd say they were about even w/the edge given to tomb raider. LoU had some pretty opened up levels though.
