An infant woudn't understand at all. These were not infant or toddlers. They were a woman and man. You're reading into that and have no proof they were infants. it said Adam and Eve kids. No, I don't have kids. If I did I wouldn't kick them out if a predator hurt them. But that's not what happened here. They were protected by putting faith in God's word. For one most slaves couldn't read supposedly,so how can you sit here and pretend like they read the bible and thats what made them not all able to fight back? People fought back,lost,and future generations were born into situations where it felt normal. Same way we don't kill white people today because white supremacy feels normal and we feel too comfortable. Same reason you ain't letting off no shots

Not trying to make the bible a murder manual,I don't believe everything in it,but there are empowering parts that call for violence as well as parts that could stop a riot.Depends on the interpreter,churches are mostly full of black women. Pastors know their audience,and firstly shouldn't be preaching war to women,as well as they know women would never go for that,and wouldn't fill the collection plate if they gave the bible to them as raw as they should. The bible is not really for women to have their nose in anyway.
