I am 100% down for black male leadership; however, I am not okay with saying one group should wait for help until another group is fully served because I am a woman and they are men. From what I read, those cats are basically sayin is allow the men to lead. Let the men go out there on the front lines to fight, instead of allowing our women to lead. Let men be the voices of the community. Not saying that women shouldn't have a say or a voice. But it's important for any "strong empire" to be led with strong male leadership. Once that is established, the females will reap all the benefits of said leadership.

The original poster I quoted said TWICE that women should be helped AFTER the men are right. I don't know how that can be interpreted any differently. I asked for clarification in case I was interpreting it wrong and he didn't clear things up.

yes, I have in real life and on this very board and on other message boards.

I've participated in all of the threads (that I come across when I'm online) where black boys and men have been unjustly brutalized by police. Like black wall st happened almost a century ago us blacks living now can't use what happened then as a valid reason on why we as a whole aren't making the necessary strides. If somebody asked you for money everyday for money and they said they couldn't get right cause of black wall st are you really going to feel sorry for him/her? The Willie Lynch/Jim Crow stuff I can agree with but after a few hundred years we have to ween ourselves off of even using that as an excuse.
