As long as it's a Republican majority in Senate, Trump isnt going anywhere.

This is a stain on his presidency and based on the last midterm elections the Republicans are losing power.

If the Democrats win several of those big swing states it's over for the Trump presidency. It simply comes down to a few states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio, Virginia, and Florida.

He can run.

He has been 'indicted' by being impeached, not convicted.

Interestingly, even if he were to be convicted by the Senate and removed, he potentially could still be eligible to run again since by convention the Senate would vote on whether he should be barred from holding Federal office again. There have been Federal officials impeached and removed who later served in the Federal government again.
