Denzel and Jeffery carried the whole thing, everyone else was just a prop for them to bounce their lines off of. Spike projecting himself in the writing reveals how washed he is in that department. Visually he still got it tho, the whole movie looks amazing! Wonder what he could cook up if he collaborated with a Jordan peele or Ryan coogler, just keep his ass outta the writing room and have him only handle direction.
I fell asleep woke up my wife said don't even bother going back to finishyt.. I was looking forward to this too. Smh

The way he did it felt like a parody.
If Ghost and Tommy did the kidnapping I would've believed it more. You can't have an elaborate scheme like that and then show the brains of the operation was a regular street dude who doesn't seem the least bit bright.

at the same time. I guess we all must get washed at some point. Even the heroes. They gotta learn how to better use these icons in their 70s. You can’t have Denzel on a foot chase or Deniro beating someone up ath their very big ages.
