I have nothing against Bernie even though I think he's a better "idea" guy than an "action" guy. When push comes to shove, he struggles to get moderate Dems to fall in line. How the hell is he going to get conservatives on board with his ideas? People are acting like he'll be able to just pass whatever he wants as if there aren't two sides to the coin.

The main thing is that everyone talks about DNC corruption and helping Hillary. HRC was a Democrat. Bernie was/is an Independent that used the Democrat umbrella to give himself a platform. If he REALLY wanted to change the system, he'd run as an independent and use his own platform to draw in voters. He did what is politically expedient but then tries to act like he's above politics. I can respect the man, but he plays the game just like everyone else.

Trump is trash and I'll gladly hold my nose and vote the democratic presidential nominee in November..

But it seems to me that the main people saying get Trump out by any means necessary, will only do so if their pet candidate is on the election ballot..

serious question, What does it matter if he accomplished nothing if he was RIGHT and everyone stopped him due to corruption and money in politics?

All this bipartisan talk is bullshyt. Republicans do not want to work with Democrats unless it's some shyt they want(war funds etc). All the working across the aisle talk has always been non-sense. The only bipartisan bills have been crap(crime bill etc). You need to gain as much control as possible and force the issue. Even if you don't get most of your shyt passed, you need to get the idea out there into the mainstream so it can eventually break through once its normalized. Politics isn't an all or nothing game that people say it is.

People also need to start voting on local and state elections, those are just as important if not more important than federal bc most of the legislation that affects you on a daily basis is done on a local or state level tbh
