At some point, things are gonna come back around. It simply has to.
Unfortunately it doesn't have to. The only way would be if maybe schools started pushing music again, or if people started taking their kids back to church in large numbers.

Things are wack how things were before the documentary of ny gangs. That featured the nonviolent alternative culture hiphop debuted on PBS.
Life feels exactly how it was before I saw crazy legs performing with lino in the sunlight in front of a brownstone.

Life feels like before crazy legs was the gateway.

in other words.
with out hiphop.

nikka ended his post with a feminine aka soro quote.

When I thought this was a male poster
so Yeah.

Hiphop was killed by the culture thieves.
Take this aka style post made by what I perceive to be a male.
I quoted as proof.

I don't think a single song in this thread was more entertaining, had a better flow, or was more fun than this throwaway remix from 13 years ago:

Which is fine -- but you're not going to guilt me into pretending NBA Guac Baby 3LW, or the newest person doing the wack Joey Badass shyt cosplaying as a 90s rapper, or these z-list PM Dawn/Andre 3000 hybrid/disciples are good just because they're new.

It's actually sexy red you out of touch goofy. You the same dude I had on ignore for years because you refused to let go of "joe" like the rest of Chicago. I'd rather listen to sexy red thot ass than anything new your legends are making.

If y'all gonna hop online to cry every day about rap like bytches then imma treat y'all like bytches. The irony of questioning my manhood when y'all respect yourselves for getting online crying to message boards as if it's going to change shyt. I hate to break it to you, but hip hop didn't take over pop music until nikkas stopped bombing atomically with hippopotamus lobotomists n shyt. Your dusty ass opinion of what hip-hop should be isn't popular opinion, and majority rules.

So you going to disregard all the very real ways the youth today participate in hip-hop culture outline in my post?

Where are these DJs at who have changed the entire Rap Game with their Sound? Productions? Artists?

:flabbynsick: just going to keep their heads in the sand

Growing up, we didn't have to go out of way to find even obscure rappers. The Heartbeat of the entire Hip Hop Culture is born from the streets, not some old white record execs who have no connection to the culture at all. Hell, unfortunately a lot of young Black people aren't connected to the Culture as well. No wonder our music and sound is so easily co-opted, because of people like you not understanding what Hip Hop is truly about.

Lol at music, art, dance, and fashion not being portrayed or marketed by the rappers of today.

Oh, and now you complain about the subject matter it was cool then huh :mjlol:

The Fashion came from the streets, not from the rappers. We don't give a fukk what bullshyt brands these new age rappers are wearing.

I'm no advocate for hardcore rap, which is why you will always see me push the true old school. However, the biggest difference in the original gangster rap compared to today, is back then many rappers spoke on the ills of the street life, not just trying to glamorize it. And the fake artists in the past always got checked in real life, which is why a lot of rappers like to hide behind "it's just entertainment".

I really want party rap 2 come back full force.....lets dance again :blessed:
You don’t consider all the songs with the house beats dance music?
If it actually evolved into something good worth talking about we would.
This exact post has been made for 20 years
Honestly a lot of people just need to get out more.
My girl and I went to two Nas/Wu-Tang shows on vacation last summer and both were highly enjoyable. The moment we stepped in though she was cracked up like “we’re the youngest people here” and we’re both approaching 40. The energy level in the crowd was lacking and very few teenagers would have thought it was cool.
Not a huge Travis fan but we went to the Astroworld tour (not festival) and that was crazy. Energy was just insane throughout. Anyone who’s been to an ASAP Rocky show as well can understand why he continues to headline festivals with no new music out.
Todays music is made with the live experience in mind cause that’s how they make their money.
Go see almost anyone in the top few rows of the Rolling Loud poster and I guarantee you’ll have a great time if you’re open minded.
Rappers aren’t making music to be deciphered by rap nerds on message boards. There is more touring now than ever and every artist is trying to make music that translates to live performances. It definitely makes a different to be outside

What’s not hip-hop? How is it not hip-hop?
That fake Russian Kossack dancing isn't B-Boying
No Beatboxing
No Djing
No MCing, nikkas barely rhyme, have no skills and sing half the time. Can't rock ciphers, crowds or parties.
No graffiti

Just gangs and death music, unlike the original priciples of
Peace
Love
Unity
Safely Having Fun

Who said they have to go out of their way to find rappers? The rappers the youth listen to are local kids who eventually get signed and get a little polish be it a Pop Smoke, Kay Flock, Sheff G, or an Ice Spice. The youth on it before any white record label exec.

Who said the fashion isn't come from the streets? The two most popular fashion brands right now amongst youth outside Mike Amiri in the culture are Barriers and Hell Star both are black owned. You don't know what you're talking about my man you severely out of touch on some old man judgmental shyt.
