The Wrong Side of the Tracks
I attempted to watch more of the video, but then was met with references to Zecharia Sitchin, Atlantis, Martians, Annunaki, and some other things.

I was right.

What's even funnier is ALL of that was derived from H.P. Lovecraft's stories.

If you don't take it too seriously, it's an entertaining watch. You missed out on the Mayans, Jesus Christ, and the Illumanati:skip:

Nah, I didn't miss out on anything since it all revolves around quack scholarship masquerading as science and I've heard it all before.......

seen this shyt a while ago and the way they explain shyt is refreshing compared to the small deviations that other alternative history lessons take.. cant be taken serious though with the sources it uses and thought processes that are tailored at times to just throw in random mysteries and develop the story/plot

but almost all the responses to discredit the theories of this video were retarded.. like the wild assumptions skeptics make to disprove the already wild assumptions of this video make my brain hurt

For all you people that think aliens or something built the pyramids, how come they needed to feed a LOT of humans for a long time to get them done?

Giza Secret Revealed: How 10,000 Pyramid Builders Got Fed | LiveScience

The builders of the famous Giza pyramids in Egypt feasted on food from a massive catering-type operation, the remains of which scientists have discovered at a workers' town near the pyramids.

The workers' town is located about 1,300 feet (400 meters) south of the Sphinx, and was used to house workers building the pyramid of pharaoh Menkaure, the third and last pyramid on the Giza plateau. The site is also known by its Arabic name, Heit el-Ghurab, and is sometimes called "the Lost City of the Pyramid Builders."

So far, researchers have discovered a nearby cemetery with bodies of pyramid builders; a corral with possible slaughter areas on the southern edge of workers' town; and piles of animal bones.

Based on animal bone findings, nutritional data, and other discoveries at this workers' town site, the archaeologists estimate that more than 4,000 pounds of meat — from cattle, sheep and goats — were slaughtered every day, on average, to feed the pyramid builders.

This meat-rich diet, along with the availability of medical care (the skeletons of some workers show healed bones), would have been an additional lure for ancient Egyptians to work on the pyramids.

"People were taken care of, and they were well fed when they were down there working, so there would have been an attractiveness to that," said Richard Redding, chief research officer at Ancient Egypt Research Associates (AERA), a group that has been excavating and studying the workers' town site for about 25 years.

"They probably got a much better diet than they got in their village," Redding told LiveScience.

Seems rather odd that if some higher form of life built them using technology capable of levitating 50+ ton stone blocks and cutting through granite with some herewith unknown machinery, they would need more than a week or month to get those projects done much less thousands of people that needed to eat for an extended period of time.

Where did they get the 10,000 number from...?

You do know that this is speculation, right?

So aliens showed up thousands of years ago, and then decided to never come back? Earth is that boring? The Idaho of the universe? :damn:

It was an estimate based on the sizes of the settlements compared to other ancient Egyptian complexes, not a 'wild guess'. The article states 'About 10,000 workers helped build the Menkaure pyramid, with a smaller workforce present year-round to cut stones and complete preparation and survey work, the AERA team estimates.'

I'm certain there are posters in here who would discredit archeologists
and scientists in favor of conjecture.

I would imagine their ideas on how the pyramids were built
aren't dreamt up out of thin air and come from extensively studying
and visiting the pyramids that CT's just talk about.

Cool..

Here's what I would ask the author of this article...

The fact that its called secrets exposed is a red flag to me......

How can you expose something that occurred milleniums ago without absolute proof, but I digress......

1. How did he know that the cemetary he came across were full of pyramid builders?

2. When in ancient history did slaves get an honorable burial? In my "opinion" slaves have to be held against their will, and you aint controlling 10k slaves at a time for 100s of years.

3. The fact that they got a decent burial leads me to believe that either these "workers" were paid, or divinely inspired. Not slaves of any sort.

Who said it wasn't that serious?

And its all "conjecture" even from scientists and archeologists
