Cuz just not too long ago when he was a mid guy in the Bullet Club and in ROH with the Bucks. I recall people shytting on him. Saying he generic, boring CAW, too small, not a main eventer or too guy.

When he won the ROH World Title, some folks laughed both at him and ROH and said Jay Lethel should be the champ.

But now he can be the future top guy in the E?

The answer is no one, because the guys listed were the man when business and ratings were booming and right now the ratings are trash. Any name you give now is more or less a Backlund/Hart/HBK type of guy at best. Doesn't matter how talented the person is as long as they keep fukking shyt up the company won't go on a good enough run to elevate anyone to that beyond the business top tier status.

If WWE was in the star making business, Braun Strowman and Rusev would be top stars for instance both those guys were white hot especially Braun in 2017 but they never pulled the trigger. Then they started giving him long ass promos when talking isn't his strong suit which in turn exposed him and now he's dancing and is now just a 2020s Big Show .

Adam Cole doesnt look intimidating at all. Not gonna talk about his size because we are in an era where the highest grossing boxers are welters and middleweights(Floyd/Canelo) but he just doesnt look intimidating. I never got the hype over Cole either but i only seen his new japan stuff tho.

There are kids in my sons wrestling team that i would take over him in a fight.

The boxing comparison isn't fair them heavyweights in the mid 2000s and now are mostly flabby and sick guys that don't have anything polarizing about them which opened the door to Mayweather and stipulations alvaroid, though we are getting some type of resurgence as of now in HW who knows within the 5 years if HW's become the highest grossing boxers again.
