I don’t think it needs a discussion or topic. Gays are everywhere and Hip Hop has and had a lot. The assumption that gays want to listen to gay rap openly is wrong because these brehs and gals might like regular rap as it is.

Its not about gay rappers. It's about openly gay rappers. A genre with a history of bravado and homophobia is transitioning. This is like when Kanye outsold 50 and backpackers became cool enough to be mainstream again. Which directly lead to the Blog Era
