Breh missed every free throw while they chanted mvp. I wanted him to get to 30 and CJ 50 just for the record books but oh well. Pretty Clever tank wars. We are very positioned right now. The main guys are doing well. I was even suprised by the shooting numbers. Tre is at 40 percent from three, Bub even though is struggling from the field is a 44 percent. Key is at 45 percent. CJ and Corey are 40 percent shooters career wise....
With a lead guard going off this is how good we can be. Now compare that to OKC and Cleveland. WE have the same archetype big in Sarr, Chet and Mobley doing virtually the same numbers. DIfference is now Cleveland has D mitch gunning, OKC has SGA. Then when it comes to the other big Cleveland has Jarrett Allen and OKC has Ihart. I think those are the two key differences between us and those teams. OKC has disruptive defenders who can dribble pass shoot on the wings and Cleveland has had a mismash of things including that because they have had Okoro, Lauri Markinnen and Deandre Hunter in those positions.
As long as the BINS keep losing ( brooklyn, Indiana, New orleans, Sacramento) We swallow our pride and stay firmly behind them to guarantee one of AJ, Peterson, Caleb Wilson, Mikel Brown or Boozer. I trust our scout team to get someone good as long as we are not hoed out of ping pongs. I also believe that they are other good players in the draft worth adding like Dash Daniels..maybe Alijah.. etc I haven't seen bigs I like in the archetype that the two teams I mentioned have. I would trade Tristan plus something for Joan Beringer and hope he is Jared Allen Ish. He does big man things and is not seeing the floor. Free agency only big like that is Vucevic. So the chicago game was interesting to me in that regard. We gonna have to do some pivoting mid season because this free agency isn't that good. I mean guys won't be easily gettable if they are good cause majority is restricted or team options.
