Tony D'Amato
It's all about the inches
He really thought it was a big 3

Perspective is crazy
The BJ thing I took as him competing and not lying down to Michael. Kerr I saw as showing backbone to Michael punch or not. Toni also regrouped after the 1st game and went on to become a valued contributor to the team
That’s how I took it
Well almost every player that played with or against MJ said “I wanted to show I wasn’t afraid of Michael” or some variation of wanting to prove something.
And they all got sonned by the goat or had it displayed that they weren’t the future(Toni). It highlights how inferior everyone else was.
MJ and Bill Cartwright were, for a time, co-captains of the Bulls.
Sam Smith, in ""The Jordan Rules"" wrote that Jordan had no respect for Cartwright, told his teammates to keep the ball away from Cartwright in crucial late-game situations (even if coach Doug Collins called a play involving Cartwright), and belittled the veteran publicly. Cartwright confronted Jordan:
Excerpt: He didn't do or say anything to anybody until late that season, when he told Jordan he needed to talk to him.
There was little small talk exchanged. "I don't like the things I've heard you saying about me," Cartwright told Jordan.
Jordan stared at him.
"If I ever hear again that you're telling guys not to pass me the ball," Cartwright continued, "you will never play basketball again."
That was it. But as Cartwright began to move better after surgery following the 1989-90 season, Jordan began to accept him more.
BJ on Charlotte was seen as a joke to MJ. BJ had one good game and MJ was likethat’s cute.
at BJ having a good game, but at BJ going crazy celebrating. BJ knew what the response would beWhen it came to Toni, MJ was likeafter the second Olympic game but overall he didn’t see the hype.
He punched Kerr then felt bad that he “beat up the smallest player on the team” like Kerr was some little kid
*valid points*

And cats got the nerve to talk about MJ being unfair and saying shyt to make him look good when Horace doing shyt like this.
Horace good friends with the author, got love in the acknowledgements, and the author said he hit him up to confirm stuff, but Mike was making up stuff when he said Horace was the snitch.
Yeah, EVERYBODY was at least quoted in the book. There's plenty of quotes that are seemingly MJ directly talking to Sam Smith. There's a dfference between simple journalism and sources.Horace denied being the snitch, as in the “sources close to the Bulls locker room” guy. He never denied being quoted in the book. That’s simple journalism.

It doesn't matter at this point. A lot of the people here have become radicalized Jordan fanatics and the media has fed into it the last 30 years. The wild thing here tho is that this took place in a month! This is how people became MAGA heads.Yeah, EVERYBODY was at least quoted in the book. There's plenty of quotes that are seemingly MJ directly talking to Sam Smith. There's a dfference between simple journalism and sources.
And the thing is, people who act like that book was some major MJ smear campaign haven't actually read the damn thing. It's pretty fair...but as we know, MJ's a psychopath, so the truth is pretty damning if you give it enough material to begin with. He covers the bad AND the good. Even showing his sympathetic side talking about how depressed he was after Magic's HIV announcement and Sam Smith seemingly takes his side for refusing to go to the White House in '92.
