Hospitals Dumping Patients in the Streets, including the Elderly. This is insane!

Y’all are so naive.
This happens everywhere. It’s American healthcare. Here in Atlanta patients come in from the street, get treated, then sent back into the streets. It’s sad af but they’d be taking up beds for people that need it just staying in a hospital waiting to find shelter.
It’s a complete breakdown in American society and how we deal with poverty, mental illness, the elderly, etc

If u have good insurance your truly welcome, if u are poor and have no insurance or insurance isnt covering certain health issues, then get the fukk out

when my sister was in the Hospital for cancer and she was to far gone so they stopped treatment and we had to decide to send her to in home or at a facility f hospice
my sisters daughter was at the hospital with her and she called me to talk to the nurse/ doc (i dont remember who but anyway) in the room at the time to try and figure out next steps
they got on the phone with just no regard for the situation just "yea yall need to figure something out we cant keep her here"
i know its a hospital and they need to free up rooms but fukk man theirs a right way and a wrong way to talk to people and that was def the wrong way
if i was there it would of been a problem

I see this every day. I’m not saying they were right…but a lot of family will legit try and have the MD say the exact same thing over and over to multiple family members and at some points it’s like this is the situation, I have other patients to take care of.they don't care bout you man

Same with my dad
My dad had good ass insurance but they couldn’t put him in a facility, because he had good insurance but they said he can get place in another nursing home but u have to pay $1,000 a week..
Had to bring my dad home and i had to work from home and he died at home
Are medical/healthcare in this country is full of shyt
