I have no hate for the Rockets but lets be real... if you can't play defense and get stops at a high level deep in the playoffs, there's no way you're going to compete. And the Rockets seem totally uninterested in defense. I hope D'antoni has a surprise for us
The surprise is adding Bogut or Larry Sanders. Hence why Morey cleared out a bunch of cap room

Bogut would be great, I'm not sold on Larry Sanders. You have the personnel to play good defense (Beverly, Ariza, Capela) but we'll have to see in the offs when the game slows down and the whistles aren't there as much. Then again everyone was wrong about Houston from the opening tip
That last 3 by ariza was something else....there was like 40 seconds left and the game was getting close. This dude shot a 3 with like 17 seconds in the shot clock

Rockets been embraced the 3 ball way back in the Olajuwon, Kenny Smith, Mad Max, Horry, Elie and Cassell days. They dumped it in to Hakeem and he went to work if teams dared double or triple him he kicked it out to open shooters for 3's. That got them back to back chips. And since then the 3 has been a staple for the Rockets.
As long as they not taking bad contested 3's I don't see a problem. When Harden is collapsing the defense with his mastery of the pick n roll it's barbecue chicken with oepn shots from the 3 point line.
I thing that I did see last night was Nene passing up a wide open dunk to kick it to the corner to Ariza for a 3
which I think he missed. Other than that I don't have a problem with the Rockets style they winning too 
42-18.I think this team is built perfectly around Harden. It compliments his strengths well. If the Rockets commit on the defensive end I believe they can win the Chip this year especially after the Lou Will deal.

The inventor of this shyt is hollinger...these frauds fired lionel hollins after going to the conf finals because they wanted to turn into some fast pace 3pt team.....
They tried that shyt for 2 weeks the next season before coming to there senses and went back to their bread and butter with gasol and zbo and banging the boards
fired hollins for no reason only to hire Joerger to do the same offense 2 weeks into the season
you analytics frauds would have some answer if you could provide a championship where it worked

You must got me confused with @Gil Scott-Heroin I ain't into the analytics like that. But I know I believe in the 3 point shot becuz the Rockets have won Chips with that as a focal point of their offense in the past.
I think in the playoffs teams are gonna run the Rockets off the 3 point line and they'll have to take more mid range shots but they are still gonna get a ton of open 3's becuz of the way the offense is structured and becuz of Harden's court vision.
