Houston
I've lived in both cities. Houston has better BBQ and Mexican. Chicago has better Italian/pizza and fine dining. It would depend on my mood on which city I liked better. I'm a big pizza guy, and Houston pizza is atrocious, so Chicago would probably win the more I think of it.

I’ve done both. Chicago slightly. More unique food and better fine dining. Houston variety goes toe to toe with Chicago tho and the local and regional food is above Chicago to me. Because I like seafood and bbq.

Actually. Chicago Mexican food is on par with Houston. Neither are much better than the other. Chicago has better European food. Houston better Latin food. Asian food pretty equal. Seafood easily Houston.

This. Chicago has a very robust and diverse Mexican cuisine scene. And some of the top Mexican chefs are in Chicago.

This was even reported in Houston.

BRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKLLLLLYYYYYNNNN
Not in Mexican or bbq
Mexican food is trash and vastly overrated outside of maybe Mole or Huevos Rancheros so I can't really debate on that plus PR, Cuban food >>> Mexican

----- but Chicago has Portillo's, Italian beef, Harold's chicken with mild sauce, Caribbean food just to name a few>>>.

BBQ ---- brisket, yea guess you're right, nothing is fụcking with Truth's on Washington Ave -

---- potato salad, greens, beans, sides, etc.... Chicago got it. Chicago also has the best brunch and within reasonable prices.

Chicago >>> Houston

I'll take Chicago Mexican food over Houston's Tex-Mex. Otherwise, this is a tough poll. I haven't voted yet.

This thread makes me homesick :mjcry: we got Harold's in Miami and it's delicious but all my other classics I had to leave back home
