i haven’t been to Houston yet but New Orleans and Charleston are always ranked the best southern cities for food so it’s funny how Houston vs Chicago is a “tough poll”.

Been to Chicago before food is top tier. Only weakness is that you can probably find better ethnic food in many other cities

Never heard Chicago mentioned as a foodie city before this thread. On my visits there I’ve found the food to be mid. On the social sites it seems to be overrun with peopl going to Houston to eat/party. The answer is easily Houston.

Houston has the fattest people in America. And that's a huge feat considering the weather.

And nobodies consuming junk food unless you're poor.

I live in Houston and I'm not from Chicago so my opinion is completely unbiased. Only Houstonians will say Houston has better food. It's severely overrated with a limited amount of unhealthy options.

Chicago has waaaaaay better food. No chicken spot in Houston is fụcking with Harold's or Sharky's, not even the Harold's on westheimer. Pizza here is trash. Mexican food is vastly overrated and extremely unhealthy. Soul food and Italian is non existent. BBQ, ya'll got that. Brisket is good. Asian food is disgusting. Mexicans work at Rice box. Thai food is cool. Caribbean food is mediocre at best and hard to find outside of a million golden krust everywhere. Vegan food contains too much soy options or disqualifies itself by being extremely unhealthy with the vegan title. Turkey leg hut is a cash grab and overrated, overpopulated experience that's not worth the trouble plus $20 parking. I've traveled and food vlogged all over Houston. It doesn't even fụck with Austin to go anywhere near Chicago but at least it's not as bad as Dallas.

Also, Texas is full. Too many outsiders coming in and fụcking up inflation so now everything is expensive including rent, crime jump, traffic, bad drivers, corny nıggas, etc...
