That era of Rocafella and Rocawear, two profitable enterprises that were owned and operated by three black brothers, was so inspiring. That's one of the reasons I respect Jay as much as I do, despite the occasional hiccups he makes to appear palatable to the mainstream (read: white people). He put in a grind and established a template for black entrepreneurial excellence that more brothers need to acknowledge and follow.

I'm not even thinking about it on that level. To me, that doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter if he's got it to give (which he does, ten times over), what matters to me, is the very idea of being an adult and taking money from another person without the exchange of goods or services.
That falls strictly under the category of Charity, and unless I'm in a position where I genuinely need Charity, please don't treat me as a tax deductible.
