The flood in 94 really makes me think what Tical could have been.

not really
it wasn't really that big here in the south. maybe on the east coast it was bigger

The WU were Big compared to WHO?![]()
but Wu at the height of their popularity....which I'd say would be around '97....sold 4 million with "Wu-Tang Forever".
and I'm from the DC area so in general it depends on where you were I guess. The kids older than us messed with Wu so as the younger kids, we thought Wu was cool. A guy who taught me in high school is also an alum of that same high school and he said his last three years there, all you'd hear in the parking lots was Wu, Pac, Big and Bone. And that's a high school in PG county which is damn near all black if not completely all black minus that white woman I saw jogging on my way to work the other morning. This was the first rap song I memorized word for word though and while I love Tical I still want an album from 95 Method Man because that year?
..at least you know your boxing thoughmy breh @Tony Muthafu%*in Tubbs does not like East Coast rap at all..at least you know your boxing though
On & Off
But never seen it...not even once. And the box probably comprised approximately 35% of my TV time as a yungin... might've been a regional thing. I suspect nikkas from my area just never called the joint in...as i said, where i'm from Wu-Tang was just never all that relevant.![]()
Lies. You're a clown. I have a cousin from DC and he and his homies were big Wu fans. You literally had to be trying to avoid the Method Man video not to have seen it til this day.
...nikkas down here don't fukk wit no bamma ass WU, generally speaking. Simple as that. You can conjure up all the
you want. That's just a clear cut fact....and if they did they'd be the source of ridicule in their community.
I was a kid so I can't speak on how heavy it was in the clubs or anything major BUT that song and Cream were all we talked about on the playgroundand I'm from the DC area so in general it depends on where you were I guess. Highly unlikely that everybody has these aunts, cousins & uncles coming out the woodwork in DC claimin to be WU fans (with no receipts produced) when i've spent damn there my entire life in this city without running into one...JUST ONE...nikkas down here don't fukk wit no bamma ass WU, generally speaking. Simple as that. You can conjure up all the
you want. That's just a clear cut fact....and if they did they'd be the source of ridicule in their community.
But being that they share your :cornballbrother: lineage and bloodline...your claims may actually have some merit.![]()

he is clearly trolling, nikkas in DC fukked with a little bit of everything especially back in the day
considering DC never really had a established HH scene of its own
