It happens in a lot of minority groups not just blacks. It's due to white supremacy permeating through it.

I was thinking about this and was thinking about this Mexican American historical movement called "Refusing To Forget" on NPR I heard about that highlighted the race related violence against Mexicans in Texas. Not many people know about it but instead Texans have a false fukking sense of pride and don't know their history.

Then you got Mexican folks white worshipping lol I see this. It's as though they forgot what whites did for them. I'm not here to hold every white person accountable for stuff they didn't do but we can't be like other race of people such as Hispanics and Asians and simply 'forget' atrocities done to us because it affects us to this present day. Only thing we can do is accept it and learn from it as humans.

The thing is, Mexicans are a mixed group. Descendants of Aztecs and Mayans and descendants of the Spanish conquerors. So their concerns are not historical grievances, but current problems like land reform, corruption and how their country is ruled by a small elite.

As far as I'm concerned this country was built on racism and will always be racist. Yeah we need to build up black communities and try to be self sufficient, but waiting for the status quo to change in this country, well don't hold your breath.
