When I started playing basketball over the summer every day, when I went back to football in the fall I was a little better:ld:

I think if you're a CB then you have the best chance of translating into a guard. As a CB you have to backpedal, move laterally, anticipate and have timing. I think the QB and CB are the most difficult positions in terms of skill.

I dunno... Most corners are forced to play defense because they have bad hands.. You can't be a good point guard with rock hands...

But Derrick Rose could take Darelle Revis job if he wanted too..

Probably way before your time cuz I was 2 years ahead of both those dudes. :old:

I was 2010, never got to get coached by Rick, I was a sophmore on JV when the scandal went down. So much talent and not one title to show for it though. We shoulda won it in 2009, #1 team in the state and we get knocked out in the 1st :bryan: we were just cursed

You think Wes Welker can be a corner? No way, so it's not just about hands.

A lot of corners are short 5'8-5'11, but they're really fast. I think that's why they're corners, now if you're talking someone 6'1+ then yes you have to wonder why they aren't a receiver.

Nate Robinson was a good corner at Washington, he thinks he could have been one of the best had he focused only on football.

theres less people on a nba payroll tho
Which goes to my point its an elite class of athletes...

There are 50 scholarship spots at a D1 football program and like 13 for basketball. The NFL draft is 7 rounds and NBA is 2.. Its just a more select group of superior athletes...

Football is a cool back up plan if you're not the cream of the crop..

I know the feeling bro. I was on the 2002 team that lost to fukkin Bowie in the State Championship :snoop: And I was still JV when they actually won the thing in 2000 :flabbynsick:

Not gonna put his name on herebut I was on the 2001 team with the older brother of the main kid in the scandal who ended up snitching on Rick for doing the same thing he did when he was playing :mindblown:

Rick was terrible play caller but he had a great eye for talent :mjpls:
