How can you be from the hood and root for a "culture vulture" to end Meek Mill's career?

i doubt it.

social media & corporate america took control of this battle ERRLY.

and if people had their heads str8, they wouldnt have even accepted a battle after drake got exposed. but of course, hip-hop been dead.

Social media is the great equalizer. Why else do people call out Fifty for snitching now and using rat emojis? Why else do people on social media are now hyping up Meeks response? I understand radio, yes, but social media is as unbiased as it can get.

They will turn on Drake sooner than later.

Dudes be hitting him up for money all the time cause they know he's a jerkoff. And now this bullshyt, I wouldn't be surprised if he runs around thinking he can pay to put the smash on dudes and brehs just extort him. He's already paying a tax out west.

And let me guess, you can't prove any of this shyt, right?

I swear half this board argues like women. Same exact play book and logic. They say literally anything to discredit whoever they don't like. Same with ol boy talking about Meek's mom is on crack.

I love how Drake stans take a simple, easily understood statement ("Drake didn't start from the bottom") and turn it into a completely ridiculous argument by playing dumb ("So since he didn't sell crack he's not real?") so it's easily dismissed.

This thread is full of that shyt. Some of yall need to run for office.

Really ? Why did meek go at wale ? Stop acting like meek hasn't shown to be over emotional . Now he going at 50 caling him a rat after being his boy for years ???

What is your deal ? How is he a culture vulture ? the man misusing a term and you saying you don't agree with the point but getting mad at people who argue against his poorly worded point . How is drake with a musical family that he has a culture vulture? His black family just forgotten now ? Drake djdnt get rich off of degrassi and he grew up middle class with a single mom. You know jadakiss also grew up middle class as well with two parents . You guys are trying to narrowly define something to fit your preconceived ideas
They're fukking bird brains. Half these damn rappers grew up in two parent households and got damn near everything they wanted as kids yet their street credibility and come ups aren't questioned not once. These are same sick individuals who focus more on the Jewish half of Drake than the fact that his father is pure black and he once stated that he identifies as a black man because he's more in touch with his black half culturally and that's what makes it impossible for him to be a "culture vulture". Dumbasses been misusing that term for so long without considering the definition and I'm sick of it. They're probably the same ones who root for Eminem and Adele.:russ:Yet they crown Drake, a half black man the king of culture vultures. Crine. They just better be on the ball when learning the actual meaning of these terms now since its black history month.

@houston911 No nobodies stupid, but people who make contradictory statements. If you're calling Drake a culture vulture and then questioning someone's hood credibility, Meek is guilty. He's from the hood and supported Drake and even did songs with him. Like I said, if you're in the studio with an artist, you're going to know they have ghost writers. He probably already knew. They only people who are naive about ghostwriting are fans that think ghostwriting isn't a common industry practice.

Meek put it on social media though and by it trending, it opened the door for all these other entities to step in.

Youd have to ask the rappers who said it.

Cultural appropriation is the adoption or use of elements of one culture by members of a different culture.

culture vulture
Someone who steals traits, language and/or fashion from another ethnic OR social group in order to create their own identity.

If you think someone being "half black" means they cant be a culture vulture then :mjlol: houston has a culture, Ny has a culture, L.A has a culture, Chicago has a culture, etc.

Is it because he sounds like a white man in interviews and blacks himself up in certain settings?

Could it be that he repped Houston harder than his own city, now everything is conveniently about toronto?

Could it be that he repped houston but didnt really working with Houston artists?

Could it be that he hops on the wave of up and comers?

I dunno, you gotta ask the guys who said it.

nikka you been kickin bars recently. The thing about drake sounding like a white nah in interviews then turns into a black man in certain environments is one of the things I dislike about dude. He's an actor and just plays the part when it's needed.

Hows that any different than most people. Including Coli favorites 50 Cent & 2Pac Shakur. Rick Ross stays the same and everyone on the coli takes issue.

Wait....you think corporate America and these savvy teeny boppers on Twitter and IG weren't gonna tag themselves in defense of the degrassi alum? What planet do you live on? The game is rigged, the battle was over before it started.....meek could have dropped a combination of ether, no Vaseline and takeover in one and the response from those nikkas Would have been the same.

When has any of those 3 men seem like a completely different person in any environment? When and where?

The only person I can think of that had a similar moment to drake's usual behavior is Kanye in that one interview where he sounded like he was born a white kardashian and it was because he want a certain crowd to like him so bad and to accept...shyt was cringe worthy and unnecessary.

I'm a fan of both Meek and Drake's music, but how can you root for a guy that a number of rappers have called a "culture vulture" to finish the career of a guy who really started from the bottom?

i'm not asking whose music you prefer. i'm not asking who won the battle.

i'm asking how can you wanna see this dude fail at the hands of a "cultural appropriator"

how can you root for a man to go to jail because he dissed drake?

:mindblown:

:whoo:
