How can you say Nas isn't the greatest?

And although I know Nas is a better lyricist, like a female, I look for everything but what I'm looking at when it comes to judging "men"

like how much money he has, how many trends he sets, how many followers he has, how much he has "sold" and how the world views him before I form my own opinion.

I call it "Swag".

Nas' skill as an MC and storyteller mean nothing.

Im not going to write a thesis and all that because its not that serious but Nas is more versatile.

Nas has street records, party records, storytelling, conceptual records. I do agree Jay does the party songs better than Nas but everything else there's no comparison. Can Jay go and make an album with a Marley son? If anything Jay stays in a certain lane and follows whatever is current. The only time he stepped out his box was when he released that DOA track. Nas could constantly reinvent himself but then critics would discredit the work and say "Its not Illmatic". So lets not act like Jay isn't out there pandering

Nas on the other hand...is the same ol nikka with the same ol flow, with the same ol cadence he's been rockin with since the 90's.

Jay is the complete MC, Nas is not and their careers are only proof of that.

Jay is the greatest MC of all time period..his career is unmatched and Jay has to thank his natural gift of Mcing for that

Nas is a better rappers rapper but Pac was more vesicle and has a classic in every type of Hip Hop song. Plus Pac could be lyrical when he wanted to

Nas struggles to make club bangers most times, although I thought "The Don" was a dope record.

Also don't forget Pac sold like 80 million records

HHID is a very good album...the impact that album had on the hop hop community at that time is unmatched by any rapper in the past decade..
