The one disappointing single was enough to cause her album to be pushed back by over 6 months. Her first two singles featured Jay Z and Sean Paul respectively.

My timeline isn't incorrect. I already posted an article discussing how "Work It Out" doubled as a single for Austin Powers Goldmember and Dangerously In Love::

Beyonce, Britney Serve Up First Singles From 'Goldmember'

The tracks that leaked online are neither here or there. Some of those were rough versions that differed from the album versions. The album version of "Baby Boy" and the leaked version differ.

Jay Z has been on more Beyonce singles than she has been on his:

Lead single from B'Day:

Another single from B'Day:

More recently:

First single from her self titled album:

^^^ and again this was after the label losing faith in Beyonce. Her album was re-worked and she scrapped 50 songs.

The story arc surrounding Lemonade was Jay's speculated infidelity and their reconciliation.

On the flipside, Jay has only led with one Beyonce feature. His most iconic records don't feature Beyonce. 4:44 and MCHG have to do with their relationship much like Beyoncé's last two. Again, they NEEDED each other.

:dead:You are literally out of your mind if you think beyonce needs Jay right now. She’s been more famous than him since 2004:dead:not only that, if she divorces him and takes half, his empire will crumble. Much of his relevancy today relies on her Not the other way around. That’s like saying Cardi B needs offset cause she made a couple songs about him and he helped her career at the start. Both them nikkas need their wives more than they need them at this point. Whatever Jay did for bey back in 02-04 don’t matter now.

But it was one single. There’s no sample size of what Beyoncé’s solo career was like before Jay. He accounted for 80% of her beginning removing work it out and the song with Amil. That’s why your argument is flawed. The album pushback because the label believe she had no hits, which she admitted

50 Cent's single "Thug Love" feat. Beyonce flopped

Amil's single featuring Beyonce flopped

"Work It Out", which was slated to be the lead for DIL flopped

"'03 Bonnie & Clyde" was a success

"Crazy In Love" is the iconic record that inaugurated Beyonce into superstardom and it features who? Jay Z.

What does this have to do with Jay? The label heard CIL and still didn’t believe so it’s not like Jay came to the rescue.

Pop star singles featuring rappers gave Pop stars credibility last decade. That is no secret. JT's lead for his solo debut featured The Clipse. Christina Aguilera's lead for her sophomore effort featured Redman. Kelly Rowland's album was made a priority because of her feature on Nelly's "Dilemma".

And Matthew was lying

Prove he was lying. He was Beyoncé's manager. Why would he lie?

The label never had plans to support that single as a album cut. In fact, beyonce always discussed this years ago. Why matthew said that, who knows. But even if you were correct, still one song before 03 and Bonnie and Clyde

If one song is your sample size to compare Beyoncé’s career pre Jay and Beyoncé’s career post Jay, then idk what to tell you.

See the other songs in my response above this one and the response to the first quote in this post.

Only 4 singles over the course of 16 years........2 forum the same album.....the other 2 are 5 albums apart...

Still more singles than Jay has featuring her.

Wrong. Jay has no effect on what Columbia thought of Beyoncé’s surprise album. I remember the super bowl/Documentary/Inauguration and how everybody was wondering where was the album.

The label knew about the surprise release. There was no proof the label was failing her unless you count LSA tea threads

I would like to se interviews with bey saying this please

I don't go off of LSA. I heard the album and these are the lyrics:

[Outro]
Soul not for sale
Probably won't make no money off this, oh well
Reap what you sow
Perfection is so, mmm

And there's this article:

Beyoncé rejects 50 songs, starts new album from scratch

What does Jay Z have to do with it: HER FIRST SINGLE featured Jay Z after "Grown Woman" (performed on tour and featured in her Pepsi commercial) flopped

Jay-z has 4-5 albums prior to beyonce. Beyoncé has not one album prior to Jay. So what’s your point? His most iconic records since 2003 have been? Brush your shoulders off?
On the flip side, business and relevancy wise, beyonce helped his stature in the industry, sold more records than him in the past 10 years, and helped his image.

Since we going off rumors. Jay is supposed in debt and Beyoncé is constantly on tour to help him
Beyoncé has also got caught up in his drama

Since 2003, Jay Z has had:

Dirt Off Your Shoulders and Empire State of Mind.

Business wise, Beyonce had nothing to do with him becoming President of Def Jam, him starting Roc Nation, the signings of Ne-Yo and Rihanna, and several other lucrative deals.

You're comparing Cardi B and Offset to Beyonce and Jay Z and I'm the one that's delusional?

Breh, Jay Z AND Beyonce have put their relationship front and center for the majority of their last two albums. She couldn't have done this without Jay Z. Had she been married to someone who wasn't of his stature, the world wouldn't have cared. Not only that, but she made nearly an entire mini-movie based on it.

Ever since 2002, Jay and Beyonce has been a power couple that has been a huge topic. Both of them have benefited, which is what a power couple is. If they split, both of them stand to lose. The same way them getting together benefited them both.

You know what I meant with the comparison:russ:dont goalpost move. Beyoncé DOESNT need Jay in 2019. Does she use their relationship to their advantage? Yes. That don’t mean she NEEDS him. There is a difference. It isn’t 2003 nomore, and hasn’t been close to 20 year. She has consistently been more relevant, her solo tours do better than his, her music sells more than his. Her name is bigger in recent times than Jay-z and it’s been that way since 2004. You keep bringing up her mentioning him in her music forgetting she has outsold him since her second album and actually I think Dangerously in Love outsold The black album. That’s not saying he never helped, she does not NEED him anymore and hasn’t in years. You know that

That Offset/Cardi comparison was laughable.

Using their relationship to her advantage is pretty much saying she needs him. There is no relationship to use without Jay, which is the point. Again, they both benefited. This goes beyond record sales because her whole solo career was launched with a Jay feature. Much of that had to do with them being in a relationship since 2002.

50 Cent's single "Thug Love" feat. Beyonce flopped

That was a Destiny child feature in 2000

"Thug Love" is a song recorded by American rapper 50 Cent for his debut studio album Power of the Dollar (2000). The song was written by 50 Cent, Rashad Smith, Joshua Michael Schwartz, Brian Kierulf and Tye-V Turman and was produced by Smith with co-production from Schwartz and Kierulf. The song features guest vocals from American girl group Destiny's Child.

You thought you was slick sneaking a 00 DC feature. We counting DC now? Cause they combined with Beyoncé were bigger than Jay-z.

Amil's single featuring Beyonce flopped

I mentioned this in both my previous post to you.

”Work It Out", which was slated to be the lead for DIL flopped

That song was never slated for Dangerously in love. Receipts were already posted on that

I already said that

”Crazy In Love" is the iconic record that inaugurated Beyonce into superstardom and it features who? Jay Z.

This reaffirms what I been saying. Jay helped, Just like Thr clippers helped, just like Resman helped. Just like Nelly helped. He didn’t make her career. Columbia was still ready to push back Dangerously in love even after hearing CIL.

Prove he was lying. He was Beyoncé's manager. Why would he lie?

Because her management team never slated work it out to be a single. I went looking for the interview where beyonce talked spoke about this around that time but can’t find it. I did, however, post a quote about that.

See the other songs in my response above this one and the response to the first quote in this post.

You tried sneaking a DC feature from 2000 in there along with amil song that I already mentioned. I’m not sure I can trust you

Still more singles than Jay has featuring her.

What’s the relevance of this? She sold more records than him. In between that time. Her fan base is totally different demographic than his. So what’s your point exactly?

XO was the first single off the album. Bow down was the first song released from the album. Again, I’m failing to understand what you are saying? Beyoncé’s past 2 albums even before the self titled outsold his.

Since 2003, Jay Z has had:

Dirt Off Your Shoulders and Empire State of Mind.

DOYS isn’t an iconic song the fukk? Lmaoooo.

Business wise, Beyonce had nothing to do with him becoming President of Def Jam, him starting Roc Nation, the signings of Ne-Yo and Rihanna, and several other lucrative deals.

Rih was discovered by Evan Rogers while he was visiting family in Barbados. He, along with Carl Sturken signed her to their production company then eventually got her an audition with L.A. Reid & Jay-Z at Def Jam Records.

La Reid told Jay to sign her.His boss

L.A. Reid was also impressed with her audition, telling Jay-Z not to let Rihanna leave the building until the contract was signed

Just like he did with ne-yo

After the successful release, Tina Davis, former A&R representative for Def Jam Recordings, arranged an informal meeting with label head L.A. Reid. Despite not seeking a new contract at the time, then-CEO of Def Jam Jay Z signed Ne-Yo to a new deal after he performed for the label's executives

Jays best business decisions was marrying beyonce. That has kept him relevant for years.

I’m saying though. She just told me a DC feature for a 50 cent mixtape was a solo flop which further proof that Bey needed Jay:francis::scust::gucci:never mind that that song came out in 1999/2000

This doesn’t even make sense and I’m not sure if this is what you are doing on purpose. She uses a relationship cause it’s beneficitional, but nobody never said it wasn’t. Only that you are overrating Jays importance. She does not need to use it. You goalpost moving with Cardi/offset too. Cardi uses her relationship with him to her advantage. Does she need offset? No. She’s more successful than him and can do better than him. That’s an example and a correct one. Beyonce don’t need Jay and you can’t find one reason why except beyonce has a few singles with him. You completely ignoring two people telling you she’s been more successful than him for well over a decade and her brand is a LGBT/Feminist brand. Her relationship with Jay is markable but it’s not needed any longer. Most of her fans could live without another Jay feature and vise versa.

I think she meant “in the club” unofficial remix which was never an official single and backed by nobody. Either way, mentioning either song as some sort of evidence to her claim:mjlol:

That was a Destiny child feature in 2000

My mistake on that one.

You thought you was slick sneaking a 00 DC feature. We counting DC now? Cause they combined with Beyoncé were bigger than Jay-z.

Nah, I do recall that song being billed as featuring Beyonce.
I mentioned this in both my previous post to you.

That song was never slated for Dangerously in love. Receipts were already posted on that

According to Matthew Knowles, it was.

This reaffirms what I been saying. Jay helped, Just like Thr clippers helped, just like Resman helped. Just like Nelly helped. He didn’t make her career. Columbia was still ready to push back Dangerously in love even after hearing CIL.

It doesn't reaffirm your point. The point is Beyonce alone wasn't enough to launch her career. Her first two singles had features and the song that features Jay was the biggest off that album.

Because her management team never slated work it out to be a single. I went looking for the interview where beyonce talked spoke about this around that time but can’t find it. I did, however, post a quote about that.

You don't have receipts then if you can't find the interview you pulled the supposed quote from.

What’s the relevance of this? She sold more records than him. In between that time. Her fan base is totally different demographic than his. So what’s your point exactly?

And there goes your argument. Them having different fan bases is why they NEED each other. Beyoncé's relevance to Hip Hop and Rap in general is tied to Jay. Pop success is fleeting. There is a reason why Beyonce is still standing and all those other Pop stars aren't. Beyonce can drop a record with Jay that will get played all over Hip Hop stations and discussed and dissected in Hip Hop discussions because of Jay and their relationship. Meanwhile, Em does a record with Beyonce and it flops.

Smh, you might as well had posted a MTO article. HR is the Cacs MTO

The article's source may have been Hollywood Reporter, but you conveniently skipped over Beyoncé's own lyrics. There is validity to the report though because some of those producers don't appear on the album.

XO was the first single off the album. Bow down was the first song released from the album. Again, I’m failing to understand what you are saying? Beyoncé’s past 2 albums even before the self titled outsold his.

Which songs were bigger though? Beyonce hasn't had a song bigger than "Drunk In Love" since it dropped. Those other songs were pretty much flops.

Beyonce is one of the biggest Pop stars on the planet. Pop stars historically sell more units than rappers even rappers who have crossed over.
DOYS isn’t an iconic song the fukk? Lmaoooo.

^^^ solidified "Dirt Off Your Shoulders" as iconic from that moment forward.

Beyonce and Jay have kept each other relevant. Jay had plenty of relevance before marrying her as did she before marrying him. The difference is Jay already had a multiplatinum solo career BEFORE Beyonce.

Cardi B is not her making albums and mini-movies based on her relationship with Offset. Cardi B/Offset are hardly a power couple in the sense that Jay/Beyonce are. Again, it's laughable to even make that comparison.

Magna Carta Holy Grail/Beyonce and Lemonade/4:44 all have themes that revolve around their marriage/marital issues/parenthood.

You're in here admitting she's using the relationship to her advantage and that the relationship is marketable, but it isn't needed?

Most of her fans could live without a Jay feature is a lie. Why? Look at the success of "Drunk In Love". I don't care for Beyonce being on a Jay album because IMO, "Part II" and "Family Feud" are the only ones that need acknowledging.
