Overall being a kicker isn't that bad. Except if you have to kick a field goal for the chance to win a game. If you make it everybody on your team is like :dj2:.

If you miss then the rest of your team is like :demonic: and your coach is probably going to be like :upsetfavre:.

I don't know if I could handle that sort of pressure. I always felt bad for that kicker for the Vikings when they lost to the Falcons to go to the Superbowl in 99.

I was so happy when that happened :blessed:. My Falcons finally had made it to the Super Bowl. But now I wait :snoop:

If you have a gift of anything nobody can stop you.You guys keep saying "they". If a brotha wants to kick nothing is going to stop him.If they did try to stop us,they would have did at quarterback and coach.I dont think whites would care if we were kicking.I think at this point they are saying "Whats taking them so long to figure out a position where they can play an extra 5+ years". Kickers is one of the most important position in the game.Thnk about it....quaterback gets hurt another one comes in. Kicker gets hurt, either punter comes in or they have to go for it.Cause face it outside of a kicker who can kick a 50 yard field goal? :manny:

The guy who missed the field goal for the Vikings back in the day is one of the greatest kickers ever and has scored more points then just about anybody. Gary Anderson and Morten Anderson may be unknown to the bandwagon fan but they contributed alot to NFL

Uncertain grounds
in general, more soccer players should take up NFL kicking. they could make a killing and probably have been kicking for a hell of a lot longer than most kickers in the nfl. they'd have to change their style obviously, and adapt to a different ball..but you would think a failed goalie or some shyt could adapt and be a really great punter (or perhaps a kicker)

Kicking isn't really just some shyt that you're naturally good at. It's a lot like tennis and golf in that most who are successful start at a really early age. What 10 year old wants to be out there kicking footballs while his friends are playing 5 on 5 at the park and shyt.

Crazy shyt is, my neighbor that lives 3 houses down from me used to be outside literally every single day after school practicing kicking off a tee and also he'd pitch to his dad in his drive way while we were riding our bikes around and shyt. I'm talking every single day for like my entire childhood. Dude ended up being better at baseball than at kicking and eventually made it to the major leagues. Seen dude pitching for the Giants on Sportscenter one day and damn near shed a tear :wow:

nikka if you on a shytty team like the bucs, you would virtually have to do nothing and could make millions, i'd take that job in a heartbeat, nikkas wanna make sportscenter and shyt though
:usure:

shytty teams punt more than good teams...

i guess if you kick FGs though, you do got a point

just at the start of a game or to start 2nd half lol

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
Most kickers/punters didnt intend on doing that for a career.

A lot of them played soccer/rugby or whatever but lacked athleticism or the skill. That being said- their kicking skills easily translate to the football field without having to run a 1/4 mile...

That being said- aint a whole lot of brotha's playing soccer or rugby through out their childhood....:yeshrug:
